Warner seems to be encouraged enough by the response to The Dark Knight streaming on Facebook that it is adding five more of its titles to the social networking site. The movies include the first two Harry Potter films, as well as Inception, Life as We Know It and Yogi Bear.

As with The Dark Knight, the each title can be rented on its own Facebook page for 30 Facebook credits or $3. The movies expire after 48 hours, and can be resumed after pausing by logging back in to Facebook.

Thomas Gewecke, President of Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, said the following in a press release:

“We’re pleased to expand our test with a variety of titles that will appeal to a broad audience . . . These titles have substantial followings on Facebook. The Fan Pages for ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Inception’ alone are two of the most popular and active communities on the site.”

With Warner expanding its streaming offering on Facebook, will other studios follow suit? Have you watched any of the above-mentioned films via Facebook, or do you plan to in the near future?

Sorry, I don’t see why anyone would want to watch any film on Facebook, let alone titles that are best enjoyed as a theatrical experience, whether it be in an actual theater or in your own home.

I’m not sure why Facebook keeps pushing its credit system at me, my Visa card still works fine…
