Good week–lots of titles…. Something for everyone!

Redbox seems to be hitting its stride. Quarantined™ titles eventually start appearing! Patience is a virtue! ;)

    March 29, 2011:

    “127 Hours”
    “Made in Dagenham”
    “Fair Game”

“I Spit on Your Grave” (2011) Is tempting, given the original is considered among the *most disgusting* horror movies of all times. ;) Who knows how bad [or good?] the remake my be. ;)

April’s schedule of releases looks even better…

    April 01, 2011:
“The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest”

I hope Redbox starts more rolling releases instead of just on Tuesdays.

    April 05, 2011:
    “I Love You Phillip Morris”
    “Tron” [Legacy] RR

    April 12, 2011:
    “Hereafter”
    “Layer Cake” RR

    April 19, 2011:
    “The King’s Speech”
    “Way Back”
    “Rabbit Hole”

      Agreed.

“Spit” may have to wait until my wife’s not home – she’s not a fan of “realistically” violent films.

I highly DO NOT recommend “Spit on my Grave”. It is very perverted, disgusting and very hard to watch certain parts. I am a 40 year-old male and was somewhat “shocked” by what I saw.

haha. You don’t have a clue though how many people have already come into my video store and rented 127 hours, Love and Other Drugs, etc. because Redbox didn’t have them yet. Those are sells that used to be going to Redbox before the delay. Most posters live in their own world. You have to look at the big picture of what these studios are doing with delays.

Where’s your B&M store? The Kingdom of “Make-Believe”? How about expanding to the real world.

Even if titles are delayed, most Insiders also subscribe to mail-order or streaming services. Where Redbox is just a complementary or adjunct source.

My stores are in rural areas in the midwest. Look up how Family Video is doing and you will see what I am talking about.

haha. So since I live in the Northeast you’re assuming it is worth my time/$/travel thousands of miles to rent a video from one of your couple b&M stores in rural midwest to watch a rented dvd on day&date. Redbox=convenience/low price which makes the 28day delay well worth my wait. And your couple of b&m in rural midwest are worth my….what???? Certainly don’t think your couple inconvenient stores somewhere in the boondocks of rural midwest is worth bragging rights that you tend to assume!

I am sure Family Video is doing well with their volunteer workforce and their XXX video rentals.

        @Video Store Owner

In a far far away Kingdom of “Make-Believe” …….their world was coming to an end in 60 days…..those who worry or brag about seeing a movie first….will now have to sit and twiddle their thumbs(or whatever their choice past time toy would be).

On the other hand..we Redboxers will be smiling because we know that we have lots of movies to watch and enjoy!!! LOL

127 hours; fair game; tangled;the girl who kicked the hornet’s nest–and maybe I spit on your grave–though it doesn’t get very good reviews on rotten tomatoes….

Tangled is the only Blu-Ray release this week? Ugh. Really, Redbox?

I already saw 127 Hours, good movie. I’ve seen parts of Love & Other Drugs but not the whole thing, I’ll have to rent it. I’ll also be renting I Spit on Your Grave. I like the original and am actually interested in seeing the remake.

Good to see that those April 1 releases (assuming they’re not just jokes) are actually coming to Redbox.

RB, you are truly an idiot if you believe your post. Video Store Owner wasn’t bragging about anything. He/she was simply stating that thanks to the Redbox delays, they are able to make sales that they could not before.

“So since I live in the Northeast you’re assuming it is worth my time/$/travel thousands of miles to rent a video from one of your couple b&M stores in rural midwest”

Hmm, yeah, I don’t believe they ever said anything of the sort. Why don’t you go be a snob and a horrible troll somewhere else.
