Redbox only give Free Rental Monday code to people with cellphone texting. I used to get the code in my email, then I stopped seeing it since April? May? I contacted them about not having a cell phone and asked them to continue to send me the free code via email. The email respond told me how to get back on the list via their website, which is non-existence.
It appears Redbox only interested in targeting people with cellphone texting. They do not feel other groups of people are important, so I am not spending my money with them. I am doing all my rentals with BB Express now for I do not want one company(Redbox) to monopolize a business which is bad and unhealthy. BB Express has several glitches to work out and we need to be patience so that Redbox is not the only business in town, any town.
BTW: BB Express promotional codes can be used for the online rentals, unlike Redbox’s codes can only be used at the Walk-Up rental (that is if Redbox has changed their policy since my last rental in June, 2010).
I agree with you 100%! I can’t get Redbox free codes either because I don’t have cell phone texting. Because of this Redbox will no longer have my business. Yes, BB Express has some bugs to work out, but that is understandable considering they are newer at the kiosk-rental biz. I also like that I can use the promo codes online with BBX, which I can’t do with Redbox. Good-bye Redbox, Hello Blockbuster Express!!!

That codes that are being referred to are all ‘one-time use’ codes, so generally posting them here does no good. Redbox sends them out to those who sign-up on their website, but only does so through SMS (text messages) to your mobile phone.

Also at the top by your sign-in you’ll see a GREEN symbol SMS Push it AFTER you’ve signed. I just tried it, I don’t know how long it takes to get a reply but I’ll let you know if I get any codes.

How about some codes for the people without cells who support you too? There’s a great number of people without them that you are missing.

Folks, sign up with BB Express! I have been getting a lot of promotional codes from them in the last two weeks.
Do keep in mind that BB Express still have several glitches to work on and we need to be patience with them for we want more than one company in Movie Rental Kiosk.
The Pros with with BB Express are:
1. You can have more than one movie (I think up to 4? Did not pay attention on the #) in the Shopping Cart before checking out.
2. BB Express promotional codes can be used for online rentals, unlike Redbox’s codes can only be used at the Walk-Up rental.
3. BB Express is owned and operates by NCR, who does care about customer service. They have responded to my emails personally and have the issues fixed very quickly.

You can have more than one movie in your redbox shopping cart. And I’ve had two problems with redbox rentals in the last couple years so I called them up each time–they were professional and kind and quickly gave me double free rentals to make up for each problem. (They offered two free codes per problem or my money refunded. I took the codes!) :D
Just because someone is pro a certain business then one works for the company??!!! I wish I can work for them or any companies at this moment, for I have laid off for a while now.
As I have said I have not rented from Redbox since June, have they improved their system?!!

The only reason I signed up was to get free codes. If the only way they are sent is email, then I think I will remove my membership. I do not give out my phone number to businesses. E-mail is so simple and it is free. Not everyone has unlimited texting.
BTW, BB Express is looking better and better. I did love Red Box.
