THE LOOK MIGHT BE NEW…
But the DVDs? Wait, they’re new too…

New DVD Releases - Feb 5, 2008

Longtime fans might just notice a streamlined new look to these emails. Well, redbox can do a new Spring look as well as the Paris design studios. Fab.

The Brave One

Known for squaring off against the bad guys, this time Jodie Foster IS the bad guy. Or is she? Here she plays a woman dead set on revenge after surviving a brutal attack. Terrence Howard co-stars.

Snow Buddies

Some of Disney’s best and brightest young stars — here, adorable talking puppies — are back at it in this feature. Voiced by Dylan Sprouse and Jim Belushi among others, here the pups set out to win the big sled race.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

So you know what’s going to happen. But the acting by Brad Pitt (as James) and Casey Affleck (as Ford) will still leave surprises at every turn in this interpretation of the last days of the famous Missouri outlaw’s life.

Across the Universe

Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess (not to mention the music of the Beatles) are the big stars in this whimsical tale. It’s about a boy named Jude and a girl named Lucy who find each other — and love — in 1960’s America.

Go Diego Go: Diego’s Magical Missions!

For the kids, of course. Everyone loves Diego.

And from last week…

The Invasion

When an ancient virus threatens everyone on earth (starting with her son), a scientist played by Nicole Kidman has to stop it. Teaming up with Daniel “The New 007″ Craig might just be her only hope.

Onward, movie lovers. Select these and other new flicks online at redbox.com, then grab them at your nearest redbox.

I don’t get how the free codes can be tied to your credit card. When you are at the Redbox you enter the promo code before you even swipe your card.

Hey guys I’m new to the site and my wife and I love it. Only thing is there seems to be more codes that don’t work than do. But the ones that do you can use different cards and use the same code againand again, depends on how many cards you havebetween my wife and I we have six cards so we use each code 6 times sweet little trick there.
    GOD BLESS

Not even available thru Redbox, not just “out to rent”.

Unbelievable!!! The Assasination of Jesse James etc. not available for rent at all in Nashville, Tn. Unacceptable. A critically acclaimed film, with blockbuster actors not available thru Redbox w/in a major US city’s limits.

    Kay,
I have Vista too and the emails come in fine. I also use redbox.com to rent online (I wish they’d let me use codes)… what kind of problems are you having?
I haven’t heard any of my friends complain about the site - and i’ve told everyone about insideredbox.

Wow, Kay, that sounds really annoying.

Just so you know, this is not a redbox-affiliated site it’s just a fan-site (though it’s not terribly obvious I know — people seem to make that mistake all the time).

If you are having problems, I suggest you contact Redbox directly using the contact form on their site:
    http://www.redbox.com/Help/Contact.aspx

They have always been very responsive to me whenever I’ve had a problem.

    Good Luck.

I am so sorry but I have a new computer with Vista and when you left e-mail stating you had a new look I was anxious to see it. Well I have never been able to look at it. I dont know what you did but all of my family and friedns can not open them also. I am afraid you lost us as a customer unless you can make your web site more user friendly. I have really enjoyed using the redbox especially for the convenience of being able to rent them on line and go and pick them up. Are you going to be able to fix it????
This was the only site I could find that would come up….
