    How do you use the codes? Do I have to print something to bring or is there a place to enter the code while getting the movie?

      When you go to the redbox machine at the store

      you look at the bottom of the screen and it says something like
      “rent dvd using code”
      you hit that button..type in the code
      if the code works it will take you straight to the dvd movie screen to pick a movie

      if the code doesn’t work..it will tell you it doesn’t work.

    I can’t believe people complain about $ 1.00 movie rentals! In addition to free rental codes! Go ahead and spend $ 10.00 for a movie ticket not including the cost of food and drink .

      We want to save some $$. It’s none of your business if we choose to get a free DVD rental. Maybe we buy popcorn, soda and beer to enjoy our precious free DVD rental. Go fly a kite in a electrical rain storm and please use metal string….

      what i’d like to know is whose’s complainning? I think it’s great and easy. I hate having to rent a movie for $6 when i will only watch it once. Redbox is great!

      you have to sign up for the text messages to get them. but you really don’t have to if you just come here to get the codes!

    I tried the code and it said to pick a movie, when I did it then asked me to swipe my card which I did but it charged the one dollar. I tried another movie but ended up paying for that one too. I’m not complaining about having to pay I just want to know what I’m doing wrong.

      they’re not charging you. they do “authorize” your card. this authorization will disappear within 2 – 5 bus. days, depending on your bank.
