`I do appreciate the free codes, and if anyone thinks using them is cheap they are correct, but if they do not like them why are they on this site. I use Blockbuster mail but I still like the $1 and free movies from Redbox. Somebody needs to get out of the house and get involved with volunteering for a worthy cause; such as a soup kitchen or homeless shelter. This would take your mind off the free codes.
I agree, I think the codes are great and who can beat the normal $1 rental of a brand-spanking new dvd? Beats watching free ones where every once in a while someone walks in front of the screen. And yes, people should volunteer more!!!
The monday code of 37CEA9 did not work when I tried to use it at a local redbox I did not attempt to try the code at another redbox since doing so would’ve required traveling to a farther location. Maybe the code does work but only in certain redbox locations. The one I go to is one of the few redbox locations that is actually outside.
I agree with you George 100%. If you like the free codes, use them, if not don’t worry about it.
Hey I rent from Redbox constantly! There’s nothing wrong with Redbox saying thanks to all of us by giving us a free rental once in a while! Seriously go use your spare time wisely rather than putting people down about using a code. By the way do you use coupons when you shop? Same thing!!

My take,
I am a 37 yr old, recently (and severely) disabled Veteran. I have also (recently) learned to appreciate all things in life without complaining because you don’t know what you’ve got until its gone, believe me! Even the little things count…
You are right, life is too short, and we should all be thankful for everything we have, especially our lives! Thank You for serving our country and making it possiable for us and our children to be safe. God Bless.

Silly question, since this is my first week with RedBox………..are the promo codes only good on Mondays? Do we have to use them today or will they work for the whole week?

EVEN THOUGH REDBOX MOVIES ARE REALLY CHEAP IT IS STILL NICE TO GET A FREE MOVIE NOW AND THEN. WITH A GALLON OF MILK COSTING MORE THAN A GALLON OF GAS IT IS A DARN GOOD MARKETING ACT ON THE PART OF REDBOX TO GIVE A LITTLE BACK TO ITS LOYAL CUSTOMERS.

I tried to use the jan 5 promo code and I had the right code but it would not take it whats up?
Has someone actually said they don’t like using the codes? How could you not?
I’ve not tried the promo codes yet. does it give you one free night on a movie? the only prob i have with the Redbox is that with the cheeap prices we rent and watch all the movies so fast and don’t have anymore to rent. but that’s cool, we just wait. =)

I love free codes!! Does anyone us CRICKET for their cell provider? I noticed it is not on the e-mail list to have the free codes sent directly to me cell. I had Quest and it was not listed either. Any suggestions Cricket users?????
Last week the promo code worked great. Today it would not work even though I tried more than once. I was going to pay for a movie, but the one I wanted was not listed on the machine even though on line you indicate the movie was there (I just checked and the Redbox web site says it is there).
It’s very possible that someone snagged the last copy before you got there, then someone else returned a copy before you got back to your computer. Movies come and go all the time! By the way, this site is not affiliated with Redbox.

You cannot reserve a movie with a free promo code.
You have until midnight to use the code, hope you get better.
Always try the code on both the first screen and the checkout screen if it doesn’t work.
Then try another location (if it’s close of course).
And for those of you who are new customers, use the REDBOX code first! Then you can use the monday code, just start a new transaction.
I know you can sometimes get the monday codes to work after midnight (Tuesday Morning) so here’s my question. If I rent a DVD after midnight tonight ,is it due back by 9pm that night (Tues) or 9pm Wednesday night sense it’s technically Tuesday when I rent it? I hope that’s not too dumb of a question but I was curious.

I love the codes. It gives the family a chance to see a movie that we have been waiting for and if we like the movie we go and buy it. Free code or not I use Redbox to get new movies. Can’t beat the price and convenience of the kiosk.
