A classic fairy tale is back on the big screen this weekend as Snow White and the Huntsman hits theaters. It seems appropriate to have this week’s contest centered around such tales. To enter, answer the following question in the comments section below:
What’s your favorite fairy tale movie of all time?
There are almost too many choices for this one.

I love “Enchanted”. It is filled with everything I love about a feel good movie.
It’s hard to choose but I’ll say Beauty and the Beast.
Cinderella
I’ll go with Cinderella also. It is such a classic!
Tie between Labyrinth and The Princess Bride.
Tangled
The Little Mermaid; my niece and I watch it all the time
“The Princess Bride,” hands down. It subtly pokes fun at the conventions of fairy tales while being a delightful one all its own. And it’s just a good movie overall. Win-win =)
‘The Princess Bride’ is great fun for the whole family
Aladdin- love the “whole new world” magic carpet scene!
all the shreks
Tangled
My favorite fairy-tale movie is The Princess Bride – not one you think of very often, but SUCH a great film.
The original Shrek
I loved Tangled!!
Thanks for the giveaway!
beauty and the beast
‘Hook’… Hard to beat a Peter Pan movie!
Princess Bride
Gotta pick the Princess Bride
Shrek series
Beauty and the Beast
I’m not sure if this is considered a fairy tale but I have always loved Charlotte’s Web.
Shrek… its a great movie for the whole family..!.excellent music, effects etc.
The never ending story is my absolute favorite fairly tale story ever. Never stop believing :)
Stemming from my childhood I’d have to go with Pinocchio as Jiminy Cricket has always been a favorite of mine….
Favorite fairy tale movie is Red Riding Hood because you can’t go wrong with a red cape and redbox rentals.
The NeverEnding Story
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I just loved the Dwarves and their different personalities.
The classic story of Alice in Wonderland (the looking glass)
Beauty and The Beast! That was a harder question than I thought it would be!
I’ll go with the most recent version of Red Riding Hood for a movie, and the new tv series ‘Grimm’ for a back up ;)
Snow White
..Hi..
….The best fairy tale of all time has to be the fairy tale about George W. Bush in the movie “W”!
…Be Seeing You…Raja…
The Princess Bride
It’s hard to choose just one, but the actual Grimms stories are the greatest.
Red Riding Hood and Snow White are the tops.
My all time favorite is the Beauty and the Beast. I think that all of us can learn a lesson from that one, and quite honestly it’s probably one of the last ones I’ve watched befored my children “outgrew” them, but I’m so excited to say I’m expecting my first grandchild in July, and once again the little girl in me again gets to enjoy without guilt!
Beauty and the beast
The Princess Bride. How could there be a better fairy tale, especially with Meg Ryan playing three totally different roles. Everything in the movie spoofs itself. I love the lamp that Joe Banks has in his “office” which foretells his South Pacific trip.
The Princess Bride
my favorite fairy tale movie is ” march of the wooden soldiers” i wish i could find it on dvd
