This time around, we’re spotlighting the final Christopher Nolan Batman flick.

Christopher Nolan, whom long-time Insiders know is one of my favorite directors, has stated that this will be his final Batman film. If so, Nolan looks like he’s going out with a bang. A dark bang at that, with shots of Gary Oldman’s character in a hospital bed and Batman looking outmatched and intimidated by a hulking figure comic book fans will recognize as Bane.

Will Nolan kill off the character that helped make him an A-list director? We’ll have to wait until next summer to find out!
