For all those that are wondering where “The Blind Side” is at, remember that starting with “The Blind Side” begins the Redbox-Warner 30-day embargo agreement.

Anyone seen Justice League and have any thoughts on it? Is it worth a rental?

I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve seen other DC Comics animated movies and they are usually pretty good. It’s probably worth a rental. BTW: In case you’re renting it for your kids, be warned that it is rated PG-13 for violence.

    what’s the 30day embargo agreement?!?!

30 day embargo: A feeble attempt to make more money by Warner. They hope that by holding off redboxes rentals that they will make more in movie “sales” rather than cheap 1$ rentals.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths was AMAZING. I rented it off of AmazonOnDemand when it came out and it could not have been a better movie. Bonus points for “Ultraman” having a jerky jersey shore accent.

I’m assuming that Ninja Assassian comes to Redbox in April.

I will be renting Brothers, Justice League, and maybe The Men Who Stare At Goats. I will rent The Blind Side from BB Express if I can find it in (I’m not sure when they release new releases in BB Express, I can never reserve a new movie at 6:00 EST before school.

Shocked redbox is only getting 1 horrorfest 2009 movies (out of the 8)

Yea, that kind of stinks. I’m a big horrorfest fan and would have rented all 8. Most of the time those independent film makers make better horror than the big studio’s. My favorite one still is GRAVE DANCERS

I feel that nearly all of them are barely watchable
        Good call with Grave Dancers
My favorite would be The Hamiltons

THE REEDS…. have no clue what this movie was about.. very confusing movie had no real idea what was going on… at least it was better then the first one … Give it a C

I wouldn’t be so quick to write off redbox. I use both redbox and blockbuster express.
It’s true that currently, bb express has a lot more free codes than redbox, but I noticed that for most people, it’s still generally easier to get the newest features from redbox. I tried looking for the new releases this week at bb express, but was unable to get any of them. Since there were some new promo codes for redbox, I tried and easily found New moon, Justice League and Men Who Stare at Goats. I have seven redboxes I can visit on the way home and only one bb express so it stands to reason that I’ll have better chances with redbox. So the question is really, why write off one of your options when you can get features for free from both sources.

Just thought I’d randomly state that if you go to Blockbuster Online’s website (www.blockbuster.com) there is an ad for The Blind Side that says that it’s available at Blockbuster stores, by mail, and on demand, but Netflix and Redbox don’t have the film in any of their catagories. This just made me laugh. They don’t mention that there is probably a long wait for the TBS on BB Online, do they?

I wonder why ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ hasn’t been available at neither the Redbox or MovieStop kiosks.

I forgot that that is out now. It’s a Fox movie, so that woul explain why it’s not in Redbox yet, but it’s not listed on this site.

That brings me another question: who creates the Redboxed covers? The Fourth Kind was listed on here (with a Redboxed cover since it’s a Universal film) but Redbox doesn’t carry it. This site also listed The Box with a Redboxed cover, but then Redbox signed the deal with WB, so the real cover is used.

Blockbuster Express is a kiosk (like Redbox) by Blockbuster Video where you can rent movies for $1 a night, just like Redbox.

What are you talking about Slide? I saw on the Redbox kiosks that Open Graves and An Education was coming to Redbox on March 30th….

maybe my worker hasnt gotten to the redbox then cause it shows nothing as coming soon… Heads up Open graves was on sci fi few months back.. Its an okay movie (probally worth a buck) but if you have sci fi channel you probally seen it already….

be nice if there was a good website that showed upcoming releases…

Been waiting to see The Blind Side since it got the Oscar and I just rented it at Blockbuster Express machine in my local Publix supermarket, why not in Redbox. Seems like Blockbuster Express can get it!
