The Damned United movie gets a 94 percent very good review on Rotten Tomatoes……… Everybody’s Fine gets a fair review–might be worth watching if you’re into Drew Barrymore/Robert De Niro….. Which brings the thought that I wish Redbox would get some HBO movies that won Golden Globes… I would pay $1 to see Drew Barrymore in Grey Gardens which she won the globe for best actress…..
HBO is owned by Time Warner, who owns Warner Bros., although that would be a great idea.
The Box is in Redbox?! It’s a Warner Bros. film! That being said, The Informant also comes out tommorrow. I’m also suprised that Cirque Du Freak is in Redbox since it’s a Universal flick and it flopped.
Sorority Row=Remake=LAME!!!
Nothing good is out this week (other than the Justice League DC Comics animated movie, which is also WB), but oh well
-The Damned United
Got two promo codes expiring next week; so just one title for February 23rd.
Hope it shows up!
The Box is going to be released to redbox on March 2nd, and Cirque Du Freak is not being released at all at redbox. Might want to change that.
Where did you get that information? I am only going off the fact that Cirque Du Freak is found in the Redbox system.
Just wondering how do you know it’s in their system if their website doesn’t get updated until the release day. It would be nice to be able to see what movies they are actually going to be getting in advanced and I don’t mean just a couple of hours in advanced like you post on here.
I agree it would be nice. I post them as soon as I can here, which is often on Friday as long as my local Redbox has the latest releases already.
The Redbox system does not show release dates on movies that aren’t out yet, so I have to go on what I see in the box as well as what the general release dates are. This is getting trickier, especially now with the new Warner deal.
Oh okay. I was just hoping you had like access to information that we don’t. I don’t like how at the bottom they have a section were it says also coming out “insert month.”
The Damned United
English subtitles.
too bad no
Caretaker or DEAD SNOW
“Dead Snow” is an IFC release. Blockbuster has an exclusive until February 23, 2010.
Maybe March 23, 2010 @ the earliest.
I was just at my local Walgreens and checked the Redbox kiosk while there. I remember it had on the actual kiosk screen that comes up when you press ‘rent dvd’ pictures of Sorority Row, Damned United, and also The Triangle with banners across the pictures saying ‘Coming Soon’. Odd that that picture screen next to the kiosk no longer had that little box that gave the months/upcoming months (like all Feb, March) with the release dates of the new releases during those months. I’m thinking Redbox will no longer have that little box that lists the dvds they will be getting for the month, and instead only have the pictures of the exact movies they know/are guaranteed to have weekly when you press ‘Rent Dvd’ with the little banner across those movies saying ‘coming soon’.
rented TRIANGLE a few weeks ago off netflix… Okay movie (preview made it look better then it was)
i would wait a week and use my Free month code on it (next monday is first monday of month)
want to see that Justice League DC movie but got funny feeling it might pop up on Cartoon network before anyone gets it (after the 28 day wait LOL)
My local Redboxs have all the dvds that Michael states in this post available to rent as of this morning!
Sorority Row is the only movie listed for now at my local Redbox, I’m dreaming of a bblu box near me someday, so for right now no rentals from Redbox for me maybe friday when the other movies come in
I have used all the available redbox codes and enjoy free movies, however every code can only be used once per bank card. Need some new codes, where can they be found or how do they come about? Law abiding Citizen was a great movie, couples retreat very funny, invention of lying also very funny. The larry david movie was a big disappointment.
Just order replacement cards with new account numbers. Every issuer will glady provide the service.
I do it every year. I’ve got plenty of time, and not much to do.
Looks like I’m gonna have to go somewhere else to find the following:
The Informant
The Box
Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant
probally going to be a B&M store for the first 2 cause i dont know of any other place that does not have a 28 day wait on them
I got Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant at Blockbuster.
They also had The Informant & The Box but they are those Rental copies.
Also I went to Redbox today and saw at 3 different Kiosks that they have The Informant, The Box, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Ponyo, and a couple of other movies already in the machines with coming soon with release dates of March 2nd.
where did The Box and Cirque Du Freak go? They were listed at first
probally the 28 day rule kicked in so you wont see them until MARCH 23
Just thought I’d randomly mention that because of the new WB deal, WB movies in Redbox have the actual dvd cover, not a Redboxed cover. Any movie that came out before the deal (which is every WB movie currently in Redbox) now has the dvd cover shown in Redbox, so you won’t see that crappy Terminator Salvation cover with the crappy looking robot
YIPEEE!!!
Good times are back… Promo code RBXLUV4U working
for ALL cards (5), for me in SoCal…Albertsons;
Good till 3-1-10 Midnight!! I got all the new ones…
