Jesse Stone Thin Ice was terrible, so don’t plan on getting Jesse Stone Death in Paradise. Really looking forward to watching The Orphan!

Personally, I enjoyed all of the Jesse Stone Movies, and would recommend them especially to anyone who enjoyed the old Columbo style TV “movies of the week”

I liked Thin Ice – was really hoping to get a $7.00 Redbox selloff on it but had no luck. Death In Paradise is the first book in the series but second movie, if memory serves. They’re all good, but Thin Ice is the first half of a two part story and I’m waiting on the second half… C’mon, CBS…

Is Redbox really getting Maiden Heist this week?

The release date is November 24th.

Did they manage an exclusive on this one?

      Could be a new trend… Direct-2-Redbox [TM] ;)

Maiden Heist is listed as a “comedy/heist”.

It might be worth a promo code.

Will check Redbox’s website: Tuesday, October 27, 2009 10 AM GMT.

It’s being offered for rental only at this time. The sell-through date is November 24th.

This weeks new releases really suck. I can’t find anything I want to rent. Orphan looks like a Bad Seed/Damien remake. Guess I’ll have to wait til the following week.

Are ya realy getting ice age and orphan because those movies are universal movies

    WRONG!

    Neither are Universal releases.

Ice Age – Dawn of the Dinosaurs is a FOX release.

    Orphan is a WARNER release.

I think they should be two red boxes right beside each other one for rent only and the other one for return because the lines are too long!!

No Ice Age 3 in Lexington KY. Looks like it’s going to be one of those “later in the week” release.

Checked redbox today and movies are $2 per night in the Lancaster PA 17601 area, when I changed the zip code I see $1 per night. What areas are $2?

ice age 3 and orphan is here but when i went to check out the screen just went to black and froze there .. called up redbox , said they get to it whenever… if i get charged i will dispute any charges cause i did not get my movies at checkout

I would have requested that the Redbox rep email you back stating that you contacted them that the screen froze at the specific kiosk, and you didn’t get the 2 dvds. That way, at least you’d have that timely email as proof in case you get charged in 25 days for not returning 2 dvds you never really got! I also would have requested several promo codes for the inconvenience! Checked at my local kiosks around 3pm eastern and still no Orphan:-(

Depends on when it went blank, did you already swipe your card? Was it saying that it was vending your DVD? (the part where it’s about to eject the DVD)

Redbox should be able to identify all your transactions by card and location of the box you were at. If you used a e-mail then you will have your answer shortly, I always have a e-mail sitting by time I get home. If not, you should call them in a day or two just to check, don’t bother e-mailing them in this situation.

Where are all the horror movies recently released when Halloween is close? Those I saw in local Blockbuster

    Trick ‘r Treats
    PontyPool
    Wrong Turn 3
    Late Fee
    Breaking Niki
    For Sale By Owner

All we have is the terrible “Orphan”

in an early topic someone said redbox will NOT CARRY wrong turn 3 cause its only UNRATED (dont know why they say that for)

sort of shocked they are getting

GI JOE and Taking of 1 2 3 (that subway movie) tuesday…

Picked up ice age 3 last night good funny show and orphan (fell asleep during the movie LOL)

was going to hold off for free movie monday (this coming monday) but thought would never see them in my local box again if i didnt grab them last night….. AND at least locally…. ran into a worker and was told about 3 to 6 ICE ages 3 was put in each box compair to 1 ORpahn movie… guess they know orphan isnt going to rent that well and was shocked they even stocked it

orphan and ice age 3 were delayed because they are warner and fox releases. i’ve noticed that, like the universal dvds in redbox, they use cheap photoshop-type covers:

    ice age 3: http://www.redbox.com/Titles/AvailableTitles.aspx#Detail&page=1&sort=1&titleId=2821&pageSize=10&genreID=-1
