looks like redbox left out the best of the lot new release for this week Wanted with Angelina Jolie or was it because its a Universal movie, Hollywood Video here i come with my coupons

Yes I heard about Longshots, but it is not listed in the new release for tomorrow, December 2nd.

is longshots coming out on tuesday for the redbox or not?
I didn’t see it listed, but it is schedule to be release on dvd tomorrow, December 2ND , But I don’t think it will be in Redbox.

Why are only certain dvd’s available at Redbox?? Is it only certain movie studios? I wanted to see Batman Dark Knight and Burn After Reading but neither are there.
Batman Dark Knight and Burn After Reading are not yet released on DVD. That is the reason why it’s not available.
Dark Knight comes out next Tuesday on December 9, 2008.
Does anyone know when you can try and reserve new releases online? Is it at midnight? Also, If you pick up a rental after midnight (Lets say around 1:30 am) is it due back at nine pm that evening or the following night at 9pm ?….
As long as you rent after midnight its not due till the next day by the due time. One time i rented at 10.30 pm online monday night it was due the tuesday night at 9.00pm. better example if you rent 12.40 am on tuesday its due back wednesday by 9.00pm. Hope this helps?
Is wanted not being listed a result of the ongoing “issues” between universal and redbox? I really want to see this before i commit to buying it on Blu-Ray.
Redbox has “Wanted” in their new movies search, but it appears no copies of the movie ever made it kiosks. I’d expect an update in their Tuesday release e-mail.
New release reservation times vary from week to week. Last night, for example, it was about 1:30 AM EST (the website has some server errors prior). But sometimes the new releases are up and you’ll get errors when you try; usually these problems are sorted by 6 AM. If you arrive to the Redbox and find you’re being vended more movies than you were given confirmations for, just return the unwanted copies and email Redbox so they can correct your balance and their disc count if need be.
Movies are due next night at the time listed on your kiosk. So a movie rented on 12/2 would be one day until evening 12/3.
I phoned redbox about Wanted, the rep told me their copies are on backorder/arriving late and to try on friday.
Yeah I called too and was told that they had an unexpected delay that they just found out about this morning and that it should be in the kiosks no later then Friday.
I’ve also noticed that I didn’t see Wanted in the Redbox Kiosks.
