    I rented two movies by making an online reservation, in the same transaction – as much as you can. It did make me click on “checkout” after each movie, I saw no way of putting two movies in the shopping cart at the same time. I think I’m going to call RedBox to see what’s the problem.

      I figured it out. In the fine print it says “not valid with online reservations”. That sucks.

        I rented2movies at the same time and did not have a online reservartion and I have not received a promo code. Both movies were in the same shopping cart, so I do not know what theproblem is!!!

      Hi, I also think it’s a good deal. This is better than going to a movie and pay to much to see a 2 hour the most movie these days. I love going to the movie’s but not to much now days you know.

    They say it can take up to 72 hours after renting to receive your code… So I’m still waiting.

    It is being reported on another trusted site that Redbox put up a Facebook offer right now that when you send a friend a Redbox Valentine email they’ll include a free promo–or you can keep the promo for yourself. Turns out the promo code is the same for everyone BEMINE. I am not sure this code works BUT if anyone is going to rent from Redbox today anyway with their free first to the month code, might be worth it to try BEMINE also. No guarantees.

    Rented 2 on friday. Called saturday, was told to call back sunday by noon if I still didn’t get the code. Called back sunday and was told it takes up to 72 from when i rented them and to call back monday morning if it wasnt there. Called today, as I still have no code, and was told it takes 72 hours from RETURNING the movie, and to call back tomorrow. OMFG. The only reason i called every day was because the idiots kept telling me “it will be there tomorrow morning for sure.” Then told her I didn’t get my free movie monday text either, and she finally gives me another code for my troubles… it’s the freaking feb7movie code that anyone can get off of facebook. BAD customer service.

    Never received the new promo code this morning…was at Redbox for 15 mins. with my 3yo desperately waiting for his movie. After trying my code I got texted to me this am about 25+ times, I finally just paid for it and left. I called Redbox when I finally got through…20 mins. later and I was home already…and told them, they said I should’ve gotten another text (which I didnt). After telling her I already paid, she said “let me see what I can do” and gave me a promo code. I was graciously appreciative until she proceeded to say “it’s only valid for today”… UH…I was already home. She can keep her code!! I agree…customer service is less than stellar to their loyal customers!! Oh, and still haven’t gotten my free code from Friday for renting two at a time. Let’s see if that comes!! And BTW… just got my new code text. It’s 6:26pm!!!

    Just a note for all of you calling redbox or any other business. Don’t get mad at or abusive to the person who answers the call. They do not make the rules of what is done or what you are told. They did not create your problem and are only allowed to do certain things to make you happy. The person you want to get mad at is the boss who made the rules. Get the corporate address and send a letter to the CEO and unload on him/her. They are the ones who deserve it. They make the rules that upset you. They are the ones who pocket the big bucks. The person who talks to you on the phone usually gets paid minimum wage and is not allowed to give you what you want if they want to keep their job. So if you do get abusive “Be kind and rewind” by apologizing to the person on the other end of the phone.

    Well upon checking my e-mail today I found I STILL have no code for the two movies I rented. So I had to call them for a fourth day in a row. But at least I finally was given a new code. As I said, the only reason I called every day was becasue they kept telling me to. The people answering the phones might not make the rules, but they should know better than to tell someone a code will definately be sent by the next morning when they know full well that it could take 3 days from returning. So now I have a free code that I should have had in the first place from renting 2 movies, but I have nothing for my troubles and the run-around I had to deal with. The funny thing is, I OFFERED to wait a couple days the first time I called on Saturday and was told they were delayed. But the person I talked to insisted I call back the next morning.
