Welcome to another edition of Inside Redbox’s Preview Review, where we recap the movies that will be coming out in theaters this weekend. The goal of this feature is to help you make your weekend movie-watching plans, as well as to note movies that you want to Redbox in a few months when they come out on DVD.

You’ve got two wide releases coming out this weekend—a fantasy epic and a… fantasy epic. Previews and the official trailers for Wrath of the Titans and Mirror Mirror are after the break.

Wrath of the Titans

Sam Worthington returns as the half-human, half-god Perseus in this sequel to the effects-heavy Clash film from a couple of years back. It doesn’t look like any krakens will be released, but judging from the trailer, just about every other monster and deity in Greek mythology will come into play. Rated PG-13.

Mirror Mirror

This family-friendly take on the classic children’s story of Snow White looks like it will strongly contrast with the much grittier version starring Kristen Stewart that comes out later this year. Julia Roberts looks like she’s having the time of her life as the evil queen. Will this film be able to cast a spell on a wide audience, though? Rated PG.

What’ll it be this weekend, Insiders? Will you be enjoying either of these fantasy films at the multiplex?

The look for the web site is a bit off in Epiphany. Nevertheless I like your blog. I might need to use a normal browser just to enjoy it.
