Fruitcakes? Again? Well, redbox isn’t one to judge. You still get hot new releases, week after week.

Not holiday shopping aggressively enough yet? Take a cue from… pirates. Your favorite swashbucklers are back in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. In this supposed finale, Johnny Depp returns as Captain Jack Sparrow, who gears up for one last battle with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), who’s sailing off the map (earth) with Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom in tow. Why that little…ARRRRGH!

Hey, it’s high school, every bit as raunchy and desperate as you remember it! In Superbad, Jonah Hill and Michael Cera star as a couple of geeky and glued-at-the-hip college hopefuls who deal with losing each other by trying to lose a couple other things at one final high school party. Seth Rogen (who wrote the movie) and Bill Hader are hilarious as the town’s bored law enforcement.

Returning from last week, Lindsay Lohan plays an abducted (and later supposedly insane) teenager in I Know Who Killed Me. When she wakes up in the hospital after her kidnapping, her troubles — and confusion — are just beginning. Julia Ormond and Neal McDonough co-star.

In Mr. Bean’s Holiday, Rowan Atkinson has goofy adventures all over France. These include (but aren’t limited to) separating a young boy from his father, finding love, falling down repeatedly at Cannes and, of course, mumbling a bunch. Steve Pemberton and Lily Atkinson co-star.

Next, Andy Samberg stars as an aspiring stuntman on a mission in Hot Rod. When he has to pay for his stepfather’s operation, Rod (that’s Samberg) plans to jump several school busses on his motorcycle…with the encouragement of Bill Hader and Isla Fisher. Redbox would do it too.

Finally, don’t forget about the high school comedy about every girl who wouldn’t give you the time of day. In Bratz, Logan Browning, Janel Parrish, Nathalie Ramos and Skyler Shaye are challenged by their headmaster (who just doesn’t get it) to split up, branch out, and meet some new peeps.

See you next week, movie fans. You know where to find all these hot titles (redbox.com) and where to pick them up and drop them off (your nearest redbox)
