The time has finally arrived – Round 1 of the first-ever Inside Redbox Christmas Countdown is ready to begin…
You – the Inside Redbox community – have spoken. The first item we will be giving away is a $200 $250 Visa Gift Card. (As you can see, we decided to increase the prize by $50 – lets just call it a “Christmas bonus”, shall we?)
The rules are very simple. You may only enter each round of the contest once, and you will have only 2 chances to enter the “secret codeword” correctly.
You have two ways to get your gift card:
1) Find the secret codeword (should take about 30 secs or less) and enter it on the contest page. You will then be entered to win.
-or-
2) Follow the instructions on the page where you find the secret codeword. If you follow all of the instructions, you are guaranteed to receive a $250 gift card. It’s that simple.

I was under the impresion that you had to select 2 of the offers to be entered for the $250. I don’t need or want any of them so I guess this was a waste of my time. I am really disappointed.

It would be nice to get a confirmation email letting us know that we had the right code word and had completed a round.

I am not sure what you mean. All you need to do to be entered to win the $250 is enter the secret codeword on the contest page.

Your confirmation is given when you enter the secret codeword on the contest page. It lets you know if you got the word correct or not and what will happen next.
Took me awhile to figure out that I just need the codeword and not have to enter any of my personal info. Yeah it was easy but maybe just explain that we don’t have to fill out any of our personal info to get the codeword. Yeah it was easy! Thanks Redbox you are the best!
I must be dumb. I can’t figure out the word. It said I only get two tries but it keeps letting me quess. If I do figure it out will it accept it? Only one feel sorry enough to give me a hint.
Please stop helping these people. If they cannot follow the simple instructions, then they don’t deserve to win. It is not a scam, it is not difficult, and they shouldn’t be on the computer at work anyway. There should be an IQ test required to get on the internet.
