Warm up your winter with a redbox party indoors!
Are you kidding redbox? It snowed WHERE? Well that’s just one more reason to grab one (or all) of these hot new releases and have your own party indoors. Get ’em online today.
First out of the gate this week is The Guardian. Starring Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher, it’s the story of a young man who tries to give his life direction by enlisting in the Coast Guard, and finds himself under the command of an aging rescue guide who lost his entire team in a horrific accident. For the dudes, it has lots of action. For the ladies, it unites heartthrobs past and present. Win-win.
Just when you thought the gory part was over and it was safe to open your eyes, BAM, here comes Saw III. The deranged killer, Jigsaw (played by Tobin Bell), is back for another round of sadistic games with tortured victims (this time around, played by Bahar Soomekh) and a new apprentice (Shawnee Smith). By this point in the Saw series, you probably know if this is your kind of thing or not.
Those are all available online. Or you could grab these previous releases. Shoot, grab all of them.
Returning strong from last week, there’s Employee of the Month. Throw Dane Cook and Dax Shepard in a warehouse and tell them to impress the company hottie, Jessica Simpson. Believe redbox, comedy will most certainly ensue.
Also back is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. This movie starts at the beginning, when Leatherface was merely an aspiring-chainsaw maniac. Jordana Brewster, Taylor Handley and R. Lee Ermey star.
For something of the inspirational sort, don’t forget about Gridiron Gang, starring The Rock and Xzibit. The Rock plays the coach of a juvenile detention football team, looking for victories…and a little respect.
Finally, Crank is the story of an assassin who has to keep his pulse elevated to keep from being killed by a certain poison he’s been injected with. Sound exciting? Jason Statham works so hard, you’ll be worn out just watching him. No, it won’t count as your exercise for the day. Grab it online and hit the couch in your sweats…there’s nothing easier than that.
Why not spread the redbox mojo around to more of your inner circle? There’s plenty enough to spread it thick and wide, so don’t worry. Like extra-crunchy peanut butter, natch. Just forward this email to a buck-a-night-new-release-DVD-loving friend or relative. Then tell them they can sign up for redbox emails at redbox.com. They’ll score a one night’s free rental of any DVD at any redbox location if they do. They can sign up for online rentals there, too. Won’t you be the big hero for suggesting it? Let redbox be the first to say, “nice job,” on looking out for the posse.
