imagesNetflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos is no stranger to sharing his opinion, and felt free to prognosticate at Vanity Fair’s New Establishment Summit in San Francisco. In his remarks, Sarandos stated that Netflix is well-positioned to support the future of entertainment.

Said Sarandos: “Consumers are changing their behavior . . . That isn’t a Netflix problem. Every industry has to deal with consumers changing their behavior . . . In 10 years…[entertainment] will be entirely delivered on the Internet. It will be a series of apps that’s closer to what you see on smart TV . . . I don’t think it will be delivered on cable, and I don’t think it will be linear,”

In other words, Sarandos seems satisfied that Netflix will continue to be exactly what consumers of the future will want it to be. Do you agree?
