Great White North Netflixers have a little more to smile about today. Warner, whose relationship with Netflix has thawed considerably of late, is increasing the amount of its content available to Canadian Netflix subscribers.

Among the new additions are the first two seasons of The Vampire Diaries, with the third season to follow in January. In addition, several seasons of Pretty Little Liars and Fringe will also be making appearances. After a pay-TV window, films such as The Hangover Part II, The Dark Knight Rises and Horrible Bosses will also be making their way to Netflix Canada.

Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer, said the following about the latest expansion:

“Over the years, we’ve learned that our members love to immerse themselves in serialized dramas and great movies, and we think that our Canadian members are going to love these latest additions to the service,”

Jeffrey Schlesinger, president of Warner Bros. International Television, shared Sarandos’ sentiments:

“We are pleased to extend our great relationship with Netflix to the benefit of their Canadian subscribers — giving them access to full past seasons of some of our most popular and addictive serialized dramas and blockbuster feature film titles,”

This is quite a change from the Warner/Netflix relationship of not so long ago. What else will be coming out of this beautiful friendship?

I will just keep with NetFlix online. It is getting better and better. And with them putting CC and SDH on just about everything in the next year. Great!
    As I do need it!
And you really can’t beat the price. Even if it went up Five bucks are so. It would still be a great deal.
Keep up the great work NetFlix.

I really, really wish you folks would stop saying you would be willing to pay more for Netflix. If they haven’t already, they will get the message and then there goes the good deal down to just an ok deal. Sheeee folks. What is SDH?

SDH = Subtitles for the Death/Hard Of Hearing. And NetFlix is putting them on everthing they have. With in the next year. And that is going Cost a bit.
And I have a great Home Theater Set Up. And I am Hard of hearing.
So the CC = Closed Caption. And the SDH is a must! So yes I am willing to pay a few more bucks to get it. Even at $10.00 $12.00 a month you can’t beat it.. Over 50,000 movies and TV shows. All you can watch.. When ever you want. Get real. Even at 10-12 bucks a month it’s a steal.
