    What can you do if when you use the code it says $0.00, then your Credit card has a $1.00 plus local taxes on it. I thought that maybe it was tempoary because it is listed as pending but when you check the next time and it’s marked posted. It has happened to me several times and my brother checked and it’s happened to him also.

      Red box always post pending on my account $1.00 for movies I have a code for and $1.00 plus tax on movies I pay for. When this happened to me I just called red box and they gave me the option of crediting my account or giving me a code for a free movie.

      Promo code rules:

      1. Always give a e-mail address so you get return receipts.
      2. Always watch the screen to make sure it says $0.00
      3. Check your e-mails to make sure they say TOTAL $0.00

      Next time return the movie on time and it wont post to your account. I have rented tons of free movies from them and always made sure they went back in the machine by the 9pm deadline and NEVER got charged a cent for any of them. They tell you when they send the email. You will have a temp. hold on the card you used for 1.00 but if you don’t return it on time then it posts and turns into not free.

    Thanks for the code! We are laid off from work now – almost 6 months. This is the only entertainment we can afford (because it is free!) Thank you again. Not sure how much longer we will be able to enjoy it though – we have to start selling our stuff now including our t.v. to survive. It’s gotta get better right? Good luck and best wishes to everyone else that is in the same boat! Just hope we don’t have to sell the boat too! lol

      I know how u feel my hubby laid off too… But we keep doing what we can by just me working .Still very hard though when u have so many bills… but i sure do thank red box for allowing us to get a free movie from time to time… anyways keep ur head up high and dont ever think negative because that will make things worse…. good luck and god be with you and ur family

      I feel for you, We are in the same situation as you. Plus our ex-boss still has not sent us our W-2’s yet. I am already in debt with the irs, I don’t need more problems with them. Hope you find a job soon. I usually look for jobs on http://www.snagajob.com, you could always try that site if you haven’t already, Good Luck!

        You should check with an attorney or the IRS about your missing W-2s. By law, all W-2s should have been mailed out no later than January 31st.

      Do not be discouraged, I quit my job in sep. to go work on a contract that ended in jan. and have been getting all kinds of job offers across the country and found a company that is going to pay for me to move, thanks go out to The Lord Jesus Christ leading me through the storm that is happening in our nation.

    I’m really disillusioned at InsideRedbox’s recent push to click on a link for free Easter candy. This link goes to a SCAM SITE, where you have to participate in sponsor offers and buy something before you get anything. It’s one thing to click on a link to support a site with adsense dollars; it’s another thing to knowingly have that link send your loyal followers to a scammer. Shame on you!!

      I think you don’t really know what a “SCAM” is. The site may require you to do certain things to get the promised reward, but it certainly does deliver what is promised once you do.

      I would certainly never ask anyone to click an Adsense link to support the site, which is totally against the Adsense TOS (rules).

      For future reference, the definition of a scam is not “something you don’t like”. Scam is a serious word with serious implications, and we certainly don’t allow any known scams to get promoted here, whether we are getting paid or not.

    Been a member for over a year and never have I had to do anything to renew that cost me more than a click or two (no moneys).

      There is no code for Tues. March 31. If you read through this site or go to http://www.redbox.com, you will understand that every Monday there is an SMS code that you can sign up to have it sent text message to your cell phone. That is the code that was posted yesterday, and is only good for the Monday that it comes out. There is also a special Wed. code that ran in March and will be extended for one week into April, so tomorrow April 1, will probably be the last “March movie madness” code. That Wednesdays in March code requires you to go to the Redbox website and read the redblog link to find it. It is not prominently posted at Redbox. com, but Michael is gracious to scour through the Redbox.com website and post that code prominently here.

      This site is the best thing next to Redbox.

    For some reason, the monday codes have stopped working at my rb since the wed codes came about
