No Lost Boys the Tribe for redbox guess I go to Hollywood video for that one, but I see Dvdplay has it what’s up Redbox!
Lost Boys is actually available at some locations, I just didn’t notice it in the box I checked. So, false alarm!

I tried to use the code and it still asked for my credit card – did I do something wrong?
I believe that’s just in case you decide to keep it more than one night. It would charge you then.
no, that is completely normal, because if you did not swipe a card then they have no way to make shure you return the movie, because they would not know who rented it.
Thats absolutly right your credit card is the only identification and guarantee that they get their money or movie back.
you always have to use a credit card, even with the code. they will charge your card, but it will be removed and you will never actually be charged. this is just in case you don’t return it, i would imagine.
darn, went with my Monday code to redbox today, but couldn’t find one movie to rent. i either saw them, or didn’t want to. hate horror movies-which eliminated most of them

it should, what was the error message on the screen when it refused it?
It took a long time(I’ll say like 2 minutes+) for the process and then the long message was like “sorry for the inconvenience, but the code is invalid…..” I tried it three times and then gave up since there weren’t too many good PG/PG13 movies anyway.
I am pretty sure it didn’t say “but the code is invalid”, and if it did, that is new language.
Generally when it takes a long time to process, it is because the Redbox is having trouble communicating with the internet. This causes all codes to fail, but it usually says something like “Sorry for the inconvenience, we cannot process the promo code at this time.”
You’re probably right about the message. I didn’t bother to read the entire message since it wasn’t working properly. Having to pay $3.79/gallon gas around this area, I wasn’t too interested in trying other locations……..well, hopefully it works next Monday afternoon when a couple of good family movies are out.

I tried the July 28th, code and it did not work, I even went to two other places thinking I was putting in the wrong code, but came back home to check and it was the code given. So ha ha no free movie tonite!!!
it work here in central valley Calif., i got August Rush very good movie with this code at Longs Drugs
I am new to red box codes are the only good on Mondays?
codes listed as “monday only codes” i.e. the ones you can get texted to you if you sign up on redbox’s website (not this site although you can sign up for the newslette here and he sends out emails with a link to the code here) are monday codes but all the other working codes work on any day of the week till they expire.
It did not work here in S. Oregon for me or 3 other people that I now of.
