I forgot to post this earlier in the week, but better late than never, right?
Many grocery stores (Albertson’s, Kroger, Smith’s, Acme, Cub Foods, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, and others) are running a special offer this week where you can get 5 free Redbox rentals when you buy $20 of Procter & Gamble products.
Most likely the codes that you get are one-time use codes, so they cannot be shared, but still a great deal if you need $20 worth of stuff from a popular manufacturer.
Check your local grocery ads to see if this offer is happening in your area. And, let us know if you took advantage of this offer this week and how the codes were given to you.
Bummer. Only Wal-Mart operated Redbox units in my area.
I wish we had more redbox’s in our city we only have one, atleast two would be nice. I also wished that redbox would have more than one copy of movies at the redbox.
Too bad none of those stores exist in San Antonio, TX. H-E-B ran Albertons out of town years ago. And that’s the only one listed that I believe we ever had.
how do you get the codes?
Just sign up with Redbox Promo Codes and you will receive an confirmation e-mail. Only then will you be sent each Monday a e-mail from Redbox insiders with news, specials and new releases as well as a link for you to click onto for your Monday, promo code. Movietime” just helping a brother out.
I’m in California and Albertson’s has the offer for 5 free Redbox rental with $20 of P&G products. The codes were printed out on a coupon at the register. I have not used any of them yet. Thanks for your great site!!!
My Shaw’s has a portable DVD player on sale for $70 and the sign says you get 20 free RB rentals with purchase!
Sounds like you need to buy that DVD player and then return it so you can buy it a few more times. ;)
“Oh, geez, Chest, you’re such a douche. It is because of people like you that blah, blah, blah…”
There, now you don’t have to.
yes, i used the P&G offer and got my 5 free codes. i also got a coupon for $5 off my next purchase, so i think that was a good deal.
FYI, i called the number on the paper with the codes, and they say there is no expiration date. so thats cool.
suggest you write down the free codes somewhere is case you loose the original paper.
also, dont bother posting the numbers. theyre only good once each. you cant even use yourself on another card.
It is expiration date. On my coupon it was 12/28/2008. Check again your coupon on far end.
nope, on the far end of the front, it says Jewel-Osco. maybe we went to a different store from each other. and like i said, i called the customer service # on front and they told me no expiration. doesn’t have any on the back either.
So this is my suggestion… BUY the 20 bucks worth of stuff, get the codes, and then return the items and get your money back :-) Sounds Good haha
That’s how I got KMart to pay me $3.50 to take 32 rolls of Scott TP off their hands. Who needs to steal when good shopping and crafty use of coupons and return policies gets you stuff for free?
I can’t stop laughing…I’m glad some people use their heads… :)
Yes Mr. Clerk I no longer use toilet paper. For some reason I can’t see myself doing this.
can’t seem to log on to updates . am not that great with computer
thanks.
Good for Blockbusters because they haven’t had business from me since Redbox came to the fore front. Everyone, wants to watch movies so be it. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Movietime saying bring it on.
redbox is great! I only had one problem and that was when I went to get my online rentals the machine was out of order. so I came home called redbox and they gave me codes as a refund and gave an extra for my troubles. then I just went to the other redbox and got movies there.
we have two, it’s great!
I just got a Blu Ray DVD player, I wish redbox stocked more Blu Ray Movies
There needs to be a separate place to return the DVDs on the machine. I’m so sick of waiting in line to return a movie while the clowns in front of me browse!!!!
We have a busy location at our Jewel, so now there are 2 redboxes. I reserve a DVD on line which means I paid for it before I leave the house. (when I don’t use a promo code). I’m told the DVD is in kiosk “B.” However, there is no sign on the kiosks to tell me which machine is “B.” I stand in line and find my DVD is not reserved. So, then I stand in line at the other kiosk and find my DVD is there. I’m retired now, so the time is not an issue. But with it being 6 degrees F with a stiff wind, I will no longer be doing the reserve thing on line for an outdoor machine. Walmart seems to have the machines inside, but that is out of my way and the parking is horrible. I guess that is the plan. As long as I went to the trouble to get a movie inside Walmart, I might as well do some shopping. Actually, not a bad idea. I would even call it a win win. Walmart does have lower prices on many of the same brands I find elsewhere. Finally, a promotion that is not a rip off. Prior to this free rental thing, I just dismissed EVERY sale, money off, rebate, no interest, limited sale time, act now, special pricing, bait and switch, etc. This country would not be in so much trouble if the sales were not so miss leading to the point where we ignore them
Does anyone have any new codes for today December 19??
Our Albertsons didn’t know a thing about the redbox free rentals, even though I received an email from redbox stating that it was available…oh well I needed laundry detergent anyway!
WE HAVE SO MANY RED BOXS HERE ITS COOL
what can I do to use some codes I tried but this told me this code is for new customers anybody know if I erase my email then will work or ?
