THEM! — Giant ants caused by testing of atomic bombs. When I got home from the theater, I made my parents check each room in the house and under all the beds. The scene where the little girl is wondering in the desert uttering a single word, “THEM!” was about a scary as it gets. The mobile home ripped open from the inside didn’t help. And the finale with the hero fighting the giant ants in the sewer with a flame thrower was the topper…
The movie IT
The only movie that I found a little scary….the original Exorcist.
THEM (I don’t like ants)
The Wizard of Oz.
As a young kid it was the Werewolf with Lon Chaney….
Texas Chain Saw Massacres
The original Poltergeist scared me the most. I still can’t sit through the entire movie.
