The X-Men series is not afraid of taking itself into new and somewhat unorthodox places in the superhero genre. Witness Deadpool and it’s R-rated humor, Logan with its dystopian Western vibe, and now The New Mutants. With this upcoming flick, the venerable X-Men universe is taking on the horror genre. So far, fans have been willing to follow 20th Century Fox down this path–will they keep going?

The New Mutants hits theaters next April. Will you be there?
