Ben Affleck, whose career has experienced a renaissance of sorts the last few years, directs and stars in this “based on a true story” thriller. Set during the tumultuous Iran Hostage Crisis of the late 70s, this film tells the tale of a group of American government agents who mount a rescue mission by posing as a Hollywood film crew. Ben Affleck proved in The Town that he knows his way around the front and back of a camera—can he duplicate that feat with this new film?
