Wow! With vacation and holidays and… life, I haven’t sent out an update in over a month. Sorry about that. I promise to try harder and keep everyone updated on what is happening in the world of Redbox and with the codes that get us all free movies.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Let’s start right in with this week’s question, a way for you to let Redbox and everyone know how you feel. This week I want to make it a follow-up to the last question (over a month ago, I know). But, since many of you have now had time to use the new online rental feature…

Question: Has the online rental system helped you rent more of the movies you want? Do you rent more, less, or about the same?

As always, please post your response here on the blog for all to see.

NEW RELEASES

Well, since the last update I think there are about 50 new releases. I have watched a few of them, but have been so busy I have gotten behind.

For this week, the highlights are: Superman Returns, Ant Bully, and See No Evil. Also, other releases this week include Care Bears: Nutcracker, Curious George Rides a Bike, and Clerks 2.

Last week’s major releases were: You, Me, and Dupree and Ice Age 2.

Have you seen some movies lately that were just great that we all should, or that really stunk and no one else should have to sit through? Let us know in the movie review forum.

REDBOX CODES

There have been a ton of new codes added lately – way too many to list. So, if you haven’t visited the codes page for awhile, now is the time to check it out again.

That will do it for this update. Stay tuned for more. Also, if you have any suggestions for this website, let us know by leaving a comment in the forum. Click here to leave a comment.

Have a great week everyone, and Happy Holidays!

Which codes give you 5 free rentals? Can you list them as such on the promo code page?

I have had much better luck in the Twin Cities with the online rental. I was having trouble finding new movies in my area. Now I have no trouble getting the movie I want.

Finally, what a great system – I definitely use it more.

I have used the online rental. But the store I use doesn’t always have the movies available. Just don’t look very often, TIME—not much of it these days.

Hi-I live in Daybreak in Utah. The new Harmons has a Redbox and we love it. Renting more movies for less and less than 2 miles away. Can’t beat it. Glad to see the inventor of it is from American Fork, UT….Such a great idea. Codes? Free movies? Bring em’ on!!

Would Rhode Island be considered part of Hartford/MA/NY? There are redboxs in every stop and shop I know of around here..

Definitely more convienent. In fact, ever since online rentals came around, they’ve had to double the redbox system (add another machine) in order to accomodate all of the people who line up to rent DVD’s!
