On one hand, it would be good for Redbox to do Wednesday promos because aside from Iron Man on September 30, it’s a dry month for home video. Extra free rentals would encourage people to try some of the lesser-known movies and maybe recommend them.
Then again, it could be bad for Redbox if most people neither like nor recommend these movies (most of them are unreviewed in the box summaries already, which holds some negative weight).
October through January are the blockbuster months though, so Redbox would more than make up for a weak September with all those impulse movie purchases in the months to come. But ultimately, it’s up to them. I hope they do, it would be the last ideal month until February or March 2009.

Just watched “The Morgue”. Cool not so horror, more supernatural, flick. Worth a rental. 4 out of 5 stars
