Is there a code for today, since it’s first Mon of Oct?
how many free codes came out within the last 2 weeks i be shocked if there was one today..
WOW guess there is
QNGJ7KD
have no clue what im going to use it on… i got everything good the last 2 codes… too bad it did not come out next week
I encourage everyone to use this code and to post it on the Redbox machines for everyone else to use as well.
The less money Redbox makes the better.
They only charge a dollar per movie which is way cheaper than hollywood video or blockbuster or even payperview….Why do you have a problem with redbox especially since you’re guaranteed atleast one free movie a month?
If you don’t ever want to pay for another DVD rental again I would suggest the Public Library(ours gets the new ones every week and you can even reserve them).
Why should we have our tax dollars go to supplying everyone with Movies? The libraries should wait until they can get a copy for $5 used instead of providing them on date on date. After all you can get the new ones for free right away if you really want to.
Heck, I’d prefer they quit wasting tax money on movies all together.
It depends on the movie. They probably don’t need to be ordering every new release that comes out, since many of them really aren’t worth much at all (though I guess if people rent them then it’s not necessarily a waste.) However, I think it’s very much worthwhile for libraries to purchase movies of historical or artistic significance. For those of us interested in certain, less mainstream titles (that often aren’t even carried at video rental places) local libraries with a large film selection are a blessing.
Anyways, one of my local libraries gets around this problem by charging $1 for movie rentals – they then use that money to purchase more movies. As a result they have a really massive collection of movies, old and new, mainstream, independent, and foreign.
Hopefully, Redbox will surprise me… by Tuesday, 12:01:00 AM ;)

As of too early in the morning October 6, 2009, Redbox’s website has added the following titles:
-Hoop Reality
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0803005/
“Hoop Reality” is the sequel to “Hoop Dreams” and explores what has happened in the last decade since “Hoop Dreams” left off. Not Rated by the Motion Picture Association of America. Widescreen.
-It’s Alive
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1172060/
T’S ALIVE is a modern remake of the classic 1970s horror film. When a young woman learns that she is pregnant, she leaves graduate school to set up a home with her boyfriend in the country. The fate of the happy new family takes a gruesome turn when animals and people end up brutally dead – all with a strange connection to their newborn. Could their new child be the monster responsible for the gruesome murders?
Rated R
Does anyone think we need a new phrase…
“Direct-to-Redbox” (D2R)?
its alive was a good movie for its time back in the 70s but the idea is so old it will flop… Why do they keep remaking movies instead of coming up with new freaking ideas
Was actually going to rent It’s Alive today because I did like the original –but I couldn’t find a review on it to know if it’s a flop. Not keen on remakes either BUT the remake of Last House On The Left was actually a good remake update–so maybe It’s Alive is a good remake also.
In all honesty I saw It’s Alive, the new one, and it’s actually really good. It’s not fantastic but a really solid, enjoyable watch.
nothing good coming out tomorrow, guess I’ll watch Year One even though it will prally suck. maybe I’ll get My Life in Ruins for the ol’ wifey…
if you think nothing came out this week wait till next….. as said earlier
