    Just two this week…

    “Get Low”

    “Let Me In”
Hollywood remake of the Swedish vampire movie. I just want to see this version as a basis of comparison to the original and if Chloe Moretz from “Kick-Ass” can act in another role.

Also recommended, especially for Brad Pitt fans, is a redbox replay [RR]:

    “Kalifornia”

Don’t you guys have anything original to comment on? Last week you stated that “Unstoppable for me” and “Only in my store”.

This week again you comment on a movie that is delayed at redbox. Who cares!

We all know there’s a delay..but again who cares!

Try something positive for a change!

Obviously you do, or you wouldn’t have responded!

Okay, to be positive, I’m positive that Redbox will not have Due Date this week.

It’s probably the same person posting both. this site doesn’t require log in’s but maybe it should.

The funny thing is that the same people who talk gloom and doom for Redbox act like they are afraid of it. The future of physical media is kiosks. Between BB and RB there will be a kiosk on every block if not more.

“The funny thing is that the same people who talk gloom and doom for
Redbox act like they are afraid of it.” EXCELLENT OBSERVATION! I’ve noticed that a lot also! It’s like the constant batting back and forth that pitiful little old unsustainable Redbox isn’t even a blip on the map–BUT THEN constantly suggesting/fearing how its low rental price is bringing down the mighty studios/forcing all the high price video stores to go out of business!

Wrong again Hans. Would you like to try for Double Jeopardy, where the prizes are really big.

Like Dandelion Dust,..Get Low,..Let Me In — all get very good reviews. I’m also interested in seeing Let Me In to see how it compares with Let The Right One In–which I saw/thought was a masterful foreign horror film.

The funny thing is Netflix got Let Me In a few weeks ago. Why was it delayed to Redbox more than the BR to Netflix? I thought they got the same things at the same time.

I saw Kalifornia at the time and I liked it then, but I haven’t seen it since.

Hopefully, I will be able to get one or the other with Thursdays Free Code. :)

There are certain movies in redbox that are not released right away because redbox doesn’t have a contract with that production company so, therefore, they have to release it about 2 weeks later. Just to let you know the 411 why Let Me In was in on NetFlix and other places before RedBox.

I might rent Kalifornia if my library doesn’t have it.

    Redbox, Shedbox……

I travel to China often and buy my DVDs for .50. I already have Unstoppable, Due Date, Kings Speech, Rabbit Hole, Black Swan, etc. etc.

They all seem to be screening copies; very clear and good sound.

Redbox, please stop adding older titles and moving titles to say they are new when they are clearly not.

    “How To Train Your Dragon”
    “Letters To Juliet”
    “Me and Orson Wells”
    “Toy Story 3”
    “Alice in Wonderland”
    “The Code”
    “Gran Torino”
    “Inkheart”
    “Madea Goes to Jail”
    “Bond: Quantum of Solace”
    “Taken”

Stop wasting your money on this stuff and get some newer titles that I might want to watch.
