    -“Harry Brown”

Big fan of Michael Caine, even though the film received mixed reviews.

I think there was a preview of “Harry Brown” on “The Square” dvd. Just remember seeing a preview of a thriller movie with Michael Caine that looked really good and thinking I’ll have to rent that dvd,…and also thinking what a great actor Michael Caine is–and perhaps an underappreciated actor at that. I prefer actors like Clint Eastwood and Michael Caine who don’t take the Hollywood route of plastic surgery. Every sag and wrinkle just makes their characters more credible. :-)

I need to take remedial typing ;) at least with the thumb board devices … corrections, corrections and more corrections.

Shemp, I have to ask: Do you have OCD? Not that there’s anything wrong with that! Just that you tend to redo your posts over, and over. If not OCD, then maybe you’re a perfectionist. You know, it is said, “Perfection is of the Gods. The Gods are to be worshiped. Imperfection is of man. Man is to be loved.” Think that’s a Longfellow quote :-) Anyho,.. being ‘imperfect’ is okay, even lovable–it’s just part of being human! Hmnn, this is turning into one of the ‘luv ya man’ beer commercials! ……

          @rb

I appreciate your concern and kind words; and no, I don’t have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, nor am I a perfectionist. If I were a psychiatrist, the diagnosis would be closer to ADHD. As my name implies, I am just a stooge. ;)

I am using the insideredbox site to try and resurrect my non-technical writing skills which have deteriorated during the last few decades for the simple reason I just don’t write as often as in the past. This is so frustrating…For the life of me, I can’t seem to write and then immediately edit my words. And over time, I don’t seem to be getting any better–only worse! :(

Maybe I could blame Michael for not allowing posts to be edited– but won’t. Some sites offer that option. I know Shane and Michael, on occasion, redo their entries. I wish I could too–just to save face.

I checked and double checked this post to make sure I got right, so I won’t have to redo this post…

          Or will I?

In any event, its been seven minutes since I last washed my hands and have to do so again… ;).

Your wish is my command, Shemp!

You can now edit your comments for up to 30 minutes after they are posted. You can even delete them entirely for up to 1 minute, in case your personality changes in that time! :)

            Enjoy!

And more “Redbox Replays”. Deep Impact, The General’s Daughter, The Hunted, Team America and Without A Paddle: Nature Calls. Redbox must be struggling having to add these titles. You can find all these in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.

Beat down! I might rent , but it’s probably low budget. Might be ok. My wife won’t want me to rent it…

Harry Brown : for sure why not for 1 dollar.

diary of a wimpy kid: I want to rent it, anything light hearted comedy I love.

The studios need to make more fantasy type movies like : lord of the rings , dnd, goonies , willow. The fantasy World of Warcraft type of people would love movies with dwarfs and elfs. I like anything that has a good story and isn’t made with a 200dollar budget. “which some of the titles i rented were” Gotta turn them off right away they are so bad.

The big studios need to Crank out more fantasy stories! Avatar these types of movies sell. Lol sorry for ranting.

Disney < non-animated movies are always good. Universal are always good. Fox are always good. but most the others are junk. imo.

Keep the 1dollar movies coming redbox! Fight the fight and get all the new releases! It's not fair that BB gets to release them first… I don't get why they have the rights.

“…would love movies with dwarfs and elfs”. Last week got ‘Death at a Funeral’ from my library. It was actually the original version. Though not a fantasy movie, you’d love the scenes with the dwarf (the dwarf guy from tv ‘Nip and Tuck’–especially when the dwarf’s in the casket. Hilarious, and I don’t even like/prefer comedies!

This week is a slow one for me. Nothing worth renting
