This text-only way of getting codes sucks! I don’t have a text plan on my phone and it’s like the whole marketing world is out to get you to text or join facebook to gt their deals. That’s just wrong!
I also have signed up to get the texts and have never received one.
REDBOX keep sending u code and when u try using it, it say’s invalid or already use crap
Go to redbox.com. Log in or create a new account. Go to edit notifications & subscriptions. Enter your mobile number and check the box for Monthly Movie Monday. Click save. Within minutes, you’ll get a Welcom text from Redbox .

Everyone should complain to Redbox directly about the text-only codes. Like is stated right below where I’m writing this comment:

Thanks Redbox for all the free movies in the past. If your going through all the trouble to send me e-mails then just put the code on there, I feel I should not have to give up my cell# to get your free movie code. Thanks again for the free movies in the past.
If they sent them to email addresses they could be sending out millions of codes. There are people out there who would cheat the system and set up hundreds of email accounts just to get free movie codes. This way you are limited to one code per phone cutting down on the scammers out there.
I do not have text capability and therefore am unable to get the free codes. This is discriminatory & unfair. I am very displeased. I have been an Inside Redbox member for 2 years and this is my reward. ARGH!!!!
Being an Inside Redbox member has nothing to do with Redbox. You have to sign up for the text from Redbox only. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!

Why are people complaining about their txt program eh? If you have no text capability on your old and crappy phones then get an upgrade. Call your service provider to turn that txt feature on. Redbox will not txt you any silly marketing crap but only 1 time a month that gives free codings. Texting will cost you 10 cents. Are you that cheap enough that you only want FREEEEE and not paying 10 cents for the complicated?

Redbox used to post the codes without this kiddy texting crap! Would not use texting for free or the codes either…this is not fair and you know it. I have a life that does not revolve around a cell phone!

Okay well I tried this code – and a few of the other ones and they act like they’ll work but they wont. Could have something to do with the fact a code might be sent to someone in a certain zip code because the code acted as if it was working until the end of asking me to put in my zip code and it did not.
Forgot about my code…i know its late but if someone can use it please do…
