Has anyone been having “charging issues” with Redbox? A week ago I rented from my usual Redbox, and it seemed to be running a bit slow. When I checked my bank account the next day, there were 14 charges for $1.07, and one charge for $1.00, all from redbox the day prior, and I used a promo code. I didn’t bother calling Redbox (a bit concerned about them not eager to help, since I hadn’t officially paid for a movie for months), instead I disputed the charges with my bank, which they reversed. I wrote it off as a glitch, and the next time I rented, there were not 14 charges, but I was charged the $1.07, and had again used a promo. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I read the post about late charges, perhapsa that’s what they would tell me if I called.

That’s weird. Did you give them your email address to get the receipt sent to you? What did that say?

    They didn’t send a receipt.

Yes this has happened to my boyfriend and I several times! Just happened again today as a matter of fact. Our bank won’t reverse charges. They claim you have to take it up with whoever is taking the money. So in other words we can debit somebodies account and not be held responsible for it? I don’t understand.
