Have you ever suspect that your ISP was charging you for more internet speed than you were getting? Now there’s a simple way to keep them honest, courtesy of Netflix.
Netflix just launched Fast.com, which helps any internet user anywhere in the world monitor their download speeds for free. You don’t need to be a Netflix subscriber, but obviously the service hopes that non-member users of the site may decide it’s worth subscribing.
According to the Netflix blog:
“We all want a faster, better internet, yet internet speeds vary greatly and can be affected by other users on your network or congestion with your Internet service provider,”
Will you be checking out Netflix’s new Fast.com to see if your internet provider is playing fair?

Just to check my speed..
How is this different than the thousand other speed test sites out there? Answer: It’s sponsored by Netflix. that’s it.
Tried it. It gave me the same results as speedtest.
