I’ve used codes the past 2 Mondays, everything went well……..until I reviewed my bank statement and found they charged me for both. I e-mailed ‘em but have’nt heard anything. Anybody else have this happen?

You guys are all funny! :) A bunch of newbie’s! You all must be in states that just got the redbox!

Anyway, Redbox doesn’t have as many free codes as they used to. Once you use a Code on your credit card it is unusable after the one use. If you have more than ONE credit/debit card you can re-use that same code on as many cards as you have.

InsideRedBox keeps up to date on what codes are still working.

Monday codes only work on Monday’s (hence, the term Monday Code).

To find out all the other codes currently available click the LINK Redbox Codes at the top of this site.

Good luck to all… heh, hope I answer all the newbie questions! :)

Becky reply on July 7th, 2008 3:37 pm:

I know all that about using the code once , you just need to switch credit cards to use the same codes so that’s how i’ve been getting them for free. thanks anyways

Jtode reply on July 7th, 2008 1:31 pm:

How do you even “use” the code? I did not figure it out! And, isn’t there only 1 code - the Monday code? Sorry. :) Can someone please instruct me?

Heather reply on July 7th, 2008 7:16 pm:

I’m not sure if all the machines are the same but I’m assuming they are similar…there should be a place to click that says “rent with a promo code” on the main screen, you would just click that and then the keyboard comes up. You would then key in the promo code and go on to choose your movie. Or you can also choose the movie and then when you click on “check out” there should be a button to click on at the bottom that says “enter a promo code”. Whichever way you do it just make sure you enter the code before scanning your card. Hope this helps.

Heather reply on July 7th, 2008 7:20 pm:

oh, I forgot to answer the monday code question…there are other codes out there that work, on this site some are listed, some that seem to never expire are DVDONME and BREAKROOM. There is also REDBOX for those who have new cards to use. You can only use the code once per card. There are other codes that come and go which you can find on this site under the “redbox codes” section located at the top of this page.

the way that i tried was use 4 codes at once but i had to “purchase” them separately. It worked like a charm. So basically use a different code for each transaction. so far i got 10 free movies in a week. I love it!!!!!

I have a ne credit card. Can I use DVDONME first , then use monday code to get 2 free movies at the same day ?

Heather reply on July 7th, 2008 11:42 am:

Actually you should use the code “REDBOX” first because it’s for new customers only so after you use the card once you won’t ever be able to use that one. :)

Heather reply on July 7th, 2008 7:09 pm:

Although you can only use the DVDONME code once per card you can have already used other codes with that same card…but with REDBOX you can’t have used that card before…hopefully this makes sense. I tried it out by trying to use REDBOX with my normal debit card that I always use and the machine gave me a message saying it was for new customers only. So I used a card that I hadn’t used before and the REDBOX code worked. After this I also used DVDONME and BREAKROOM on this new card and they also worked. I’m not sure if this would be the same experience for everyone but this was what happened for me last week. I was on vacation so I rented 9 movies in 4 days. All free thanks to this site. :) I hope this helps.

Every time I try to use a code, my local RedBox says “We cannot process your request at this time.” Nothing that the code is invalid or anything so I wonder if that’s what it means. Has anyone else experienced this?

Roger reply on July 7th, 2008 11:56 am:

Sounds like the Redbox location is not connected to the Internet. I would call the 800 number or contact the website to tell them the location is not working right.

    H2Momma reply on July 7th, 2008 12:57 pm:

But if they take my credit card, wouldn’t that mean it’s working?

MJ reply on July 7th, 2008 3:13 pm:

I have experienced this sometimes….I always try several times to enter the code. I have done different things 1) left and gone to another redbox and used the code 2) rented one or two movies using the cc payment. I have been watching movies through redbox for months now and have only paid for movies 4 or 5 times. Only once or twice it was because they couldn’t process the codes. There have been several weeks that we had seen so many movies that redbox carried it was had to find any we hadn’t seen! LOL I have tried codes 5 times in a row and finally the machine takes it, so try repeated times. All in all this is one of the BEST bargins around and it has been lots of fun finding this website.

    kaydivine1@hotmail.com reply on July 8th, 2008 12:03 am:

I am also on vacation and have tried unsuccessfully to use several codes, in 2 different towns in Oregon. Yesterday, I tried about 10 of the ones listed here as being good in Oregon, in Lincoln City. All were denied, as being invalid codes, and one it said had already been used, but it had no idea who I was, so I don’t know how it thought that. Just now, in Wood Village, Oregon, I tried the Monday code first, which said it was an invalid code, then I tried EGIZERS, Summer, JRENE7, 33TX3M6, and Flagit, all of which said they were invalid numbers. I wonder what is going on. Does Oregon redbox not participate in free rentals with codes?
