Actually, the correct title of my favorite is “Interview with the Vampire” and is the only film in which I find Tom Cruise to be palatable, if I may use that word. Not to mention the always delicious Antonio Banderas!

Lost Boys most definantly! I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA..(Santa Carla..) and remember watching them make this film back in the 80s! LOVE LOVE this movie! Movie shows awesome Santa Cruz footage of our tourist town, as well as historic sights like where the grandpa’s house is…Cant get any better than Keifer Sutherland playing in his role either!!

Though I like the Twilight series, I think the 1987 movie “Near Dark” with Bill Paxton was the best, and I’ve seen many vampire movies in my 58 years! This movie wasn’t so “Hollywood,” it didn’t use all the special effects and hoopla that is used so often, it was more real life (if you believe vampires are real) and down to “earth”.

30 days of night, I’ve been watching vampire movies since the 60’s and that movie based in Alaska, scared me to death, I watched most of the movie though my fingers! Now a vampire love story, was part 2 of twilight saga, omg, I cried here and there, and the way they brought out all the characters and intertwined all the love that Bella&Edward shared from the start was unbelievable, its the new Love Story! But with a bite of love.

My choice is actually an HBO series “trueBlood”, I absolutely love it. I buy every season that comes out. It’s almost like an addiction because once you start watching it ur hooked! We will spend hours watching a season because u just got to find out what happens in the next episode. And I’ve spoke to so many others who said they feel the same way about this series. So I’m not sure it counts in this catagory or not but for “vampire movie lovers” this is a must see.

This is another vote for The Lost Boys.
Near Dark comes in a close second.

I would have to go with Renee’s choice… “Love at First Bite” was a wonderful satire on vampire movies.
