can anyone teach me how to use the codes now i have them. THis is my first time using the website. can they only be used when your at the kiosk and not used when trying to reserve online.. I want to use online and dont see a spot to enter code.. ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME>.
Take the code to the kiosk. Select a movie and put it in the cart, touch promo code and enter the code for the day. Check out and swipe your Credit/Debit card.

They changed the UI on my local redbox. Now I have to select “Rent With Promo Code” on the first screen, there’s no button on the later pages. If I were conspiracy-minded I would think they got us used to entering our code later in the process then switched it, just to get a buck out of us. And it worked on me. Grrrrr. Also customer service is useless and claimed the UI was like that all along, which clearly is not true. (They also claimed that there are only 3 buttons on the first screen, when there are 6 or 7.)
UI has been that way all along. I know that there is a button for the code after you pick a movie also.

Tried using the Wednesday code last week in Walmart – Roswell, NM and it wouldn’t work. Called the number on the machine to report it and was told to try again later. I did and it still wouldn’t work.
tried the mond code of HG7W56 and would not work
Go to a different Redbox or be careful how you type in the code. Some Redbox locations have keys that stick or are hard to push. I have this trouble with one Redbox location near me in NC. I have to press the keys very hard for them to register. good Luck :-)
For machines with the “sticky keys” problem, try tapping the screen instead of trying to “push” the button. Also, try using the corner edge of your credit card (tap) or a key (tap as well).

I’ve used all the codes that I heard of and they all worked. On the first page of touch menus, I hit “rent with promo code” or words to that affect. I entered it and it was like a routine kiosk rental. You need to swipe your card in case you don’t return it the next day; then it’s a rental. I am in Wash DC area.

the promo codes never work at the Red Box I use. Is it just for certain stores? And the Red box I use never have the newest releases in stock. What’s up with that?
Maybe you are using blue cube or some other wannabe redbox kiosk or your redbox is off the grid.
Love the Wednesday code have had no problem with any of the codes sent to me. I live in Wichita, KS and it works at McDonald’s and at WalMart.

last three promo codes have not worked for me i’ve had to pay for each movie
I was asked but my husband not to use our crdit card for any thing on line. I think that a prepaid REDBOX CARD is somethig that might work for many people. I would be willing to send say 50.00 to 100.00 to Red Box for a pre paid credit card to be sent to me then I could reserve movies on line and just think of how many times you would see that red box credit card in your wallet reminding you to go and rent a movie>
I know people who get those pre-paid credit cards you see advertisements for all the time specifically for online use.
You can go to a Walgreens they sell prepaid credit cards, that u can just charge in money and use it online and everywhere as a regular credit card! ;)
Yeah and it costs you $4.95 to $9.95 for the card and $4.95 a month maintenance fee! Sounds like a high price to pay to use your own money!

couldn’t use MMM325 @ walgreens in TN. Tried twice, once before and once after I paid for a movie. tried after others people used redbox too… might try another machine…
tried to use MMM325 at Walmart tonight but it was invalid :( My wife said that i should have entered a different email address. I don’t see why that would make a difference. I used a promo code on Monday to rent a movie and it worked. Anyone know if you can use the same email to rent a free movie on Monday and Wednesday.
I used a rebate card that I got in the mail and it has 45.00 and works for DVDONME, BREAKROOM, and the usual monday/wednesday codes. pretty cool, stacks with my other 2 credit cards = out of movies to rent

the monday/wednesday codes are only good for that specific monday or wednesday, a new one is issued each week

How can I get a rebate card ?
For me specifically, I bought some computer stuff from newegg.com and companies like Corsair do not issue checks and instead give you “rebate cards” which are basically debit cards for $xx.xx amount. hope that helped.
i was too busy enjoying my spring break that I forgot to return FOUR dvds to the redbox today, gonna do it tomorrow morning. hope redbox enjoys my 4.00 donation :D
