i tried this code last wednesday and it did not work … rented anyway … would redbox refund … not a big deal but what is the point of a code if it won’t work?

i wish there was a free code everyday! i have been using redbox for almost two years and never once had to pay for a movie rental. i stopped going to blockbuster and i wont go back unless the movies are also free.

Great idea! I use RB all the time. I joined the other day, but sometimes it asks me to sign up again. I do want to get the info from RB plus a free code once in a whilel

Redblog said “Last Chance for March Movie Madness at redbox!” which isn’t clear if there might be a April Movie Madness, or maybe a MMM (May).

This may be a hint:

“Visit redblog every Wednesday in March (plus the first week of April) at the stroke of midnight (Central Time), to get a promo code for a free night’s rental from redbox.”

So maybe only the first week of April and then skip till May? One can only hope.

I always have a $1 charge in my “authorization holdings” for my account online but it comes off after a day or two. If it was a charge, it would be $1 plus whatever your tax on the dollar is (my price with tax is $1.07 if I was paying for it.)

Well, it looks like it’s a legit code. I didn’t want to waste a trip to the redbox. I was was worried it was an April fools joke, because the code looks strange and I thought the Wed codes were only in March. Thanks!

The charge is the of the$1.00 is for verifying the card that you are using, it will come off after a couple of days. So the rental is really free. I read that on the Redbox website and it also states that somewhere during the rental process.( fine print)

Probably should be no charge right away or temp charge. No charge ever comes up on my card. If the charge is permanent, then call for refund.
