Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes giveth and Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes taketh away. He’s done mostly the former regarding Netflix lately, which is a stark turnaround from just a few short years ago when he used every opportunity possible to slam the company.
Bewkes’ latest Netflix praise comes form the recent Innovation Without Borders conference.

In his remarks, Bewkes lumped Netflix into his description of “very healthy” business models that are currently in place in the subscription video-on-demand market.
Speaking of Netflix, Bewkes said the following:
“I think they do a good job. I think they have a good [user] interface. I think they have a viable and very useful position for consumers,”
Bewkes also said that HBO Go, the Warner-owned broadband platform, has been successful in part because of Netflix paving the way and reinforcing the service.
