In our never-ending quest to keep you informed and up-to-date on movie and home entertainment happenings, Inside Redbox regularly takes a look at major films coming out in the near(ish) future that are already generating buzz and anticipation. This time around, we’re spotlighting The Dark Knight Rises and it’s brand new, final trailer.

We spotlighted this movie last summer when the brief teaser trailer was released, but with the film’s epic final trailer having just come out, we thought it was worth taking one more look at what is sure to be one of the biggest films of the year, if not the decade.

Here’s the brand new, final trailer:

This is it, Batman fans. The final Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale entry in the saga is just weeks away. Judging from this new trailer, Nolan intends for his billion-dollar franchise to go out with a proverbial bang. Bruce Wayne, his faithful servant Alfred, and his allies Lucius Fox and Commissioner Gordon all look beaten and broken. Bane, Batman’s new adversary, looks like an unstoppable force. Catwoman looks like she could take either side in this struggle. As good as the previous two entries in the series were, it looks like Nolan might just have saved the best for last.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20. Do we need to ask if you’ll be there for this one?

      Lighten up DanoFive0!

Wait until you have teenage children. You don’t want them hanging around. Slip ’em a few bucks and tell ’em to go see a movie. You will be glad you did.

I haven’t really liked the Nolan ones. Overly long and overly grim. Heath Ledger (R.I.P.) made the previous film. I love the Tim Burton ones (especially the second).

To me this looks like the weakest of the franchise. Nolan has mistaken cheese for tension. He can do better.

People online are theorizing that it’s just a bad trailer however. With the built in fan base that kind of makes sense. So many people will see it regardless they are going for cheese to get people who would like cheese knowing the others will see it anyway.
