The new report comes from comScore, which states that more than 188 million people watched approximately 46 billion online videos last month. This represents an 18 percent increase in video views versus September of 2012.
Google’s YouTube continued to dominate, making up about 88 percent of total viewers. Of interest, however, is the fact that AOL passed YouTube in total video ads shown, generating more than 3.7 billion. YouTube came in second place with 3.2 billion ads.
