Netflix_just_rolled_out_a-23308e111c03d9879747487ba767324cNetflix continues its efforts to truly become a global entertainment company, and if a new report from IHS Markit is to be believed, a major milestone in international growth is coming up quickly.

IHS is predicting that Netflix’s international subscribers will surpass its domestic subscriber total by 2018. Netflix currently operates in nearly 200 countries, and has about 46 million subscribers in the U.S. and nearly 80 million in total.

Netflix greatly expanded its international reach in January, and Irina Kornilova, senior analyst at IHS, thinks that investment will pay off handsomely in the coming years:

“With the worldwide launch, Netflix has launched a platform upon which it can build and differentiate the service to fit specifics of every region in the future,”

Is Netflix poised tomato the majority of its subscribers international? Has it already picked all the low-hanging fruit in the U.S.?

If Netflix can keep things going like it is…..
They will be just fine… And they will be World Wide. But they still have a ways to go… I think there will be a new price hike next year? They will need to put out millions on end to keep things going.
How far they can go? How much are people willing to pay? Time will tell.

ONE Big thing… I think Netflix will run into a road block in a few years. As every TV Channel & Movie Co will have there own streaming deal going.. HULU & AMAZON will get hit also… And with the caps on your net use. That some co’s are putting on.. That will hit the streaming deals also….
    Just a thought..

Netflix needs a non-subscriptions membership. I don’t watch much stuff.
