Since the advent of the Xbox One and the PS4 a few months ago, and the launch of the Wii U before that, gamers have been wondering when Redbox kiosks will start stocking the next generation of video games. That auspicious day may soon be upon us.
Evidently, a posting on Redbox’s website, which was quickly edited, showed a variety of next-gen console games under the header of “Coming Soon.” The games included Assassin’s Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Killzone: Shadowfall, NBA 2K14, and Thief for the Xbox One and PS4, and Super Mario 3D World, Luigi Super U, LEGO City Undercover, and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for the Wii U.
If this turns out to be true, it means we could be seeing next-gen video games at Redbox kiosks in a matter of weeks. Are you excited about this possibility?
