Redbox Tickets Launches in Los Angeles

RedBox-LogoAfter tests last year in the Philadelphia area, Redbox has begun selling event tickets in the Los Angeles region. Among the tickets to be had in L.A. area Redboxes are Laugh Factory comedy clubs, concerts, nightclubs and dozens of shows in Las Vegas.

Other events and venues include NASCAR races, the L.A. County Museum of Art, the Hollywood Wax Museum Redbox, the Guinness World Record Museum, and Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier. Redbox adds on a $1 fee for each ticket sold, which can be reserved online and either picked up at will-call or printed at home.

Scot Richardson, TicketMob founder and CEO, had this to say about the launch:

“TicketMob is thrilled to be one of the very first launch partners of Redbox Tickets in Los Angeles . . . The ability to help our artists, venues and promoters on LaughStub, TuneStub and ElectroStub drive additional ticket sales with a vast retail network of consumers is a win-win.”

Mark Achler, SVP of new business, innovation and strategy for Redbox, said the following about the launch:

“We are excited to bring Redbox Tickets to Los Angeles, and to expand our events-industry relationships to more ticketing companies, event producers and venues . . . Redbox is truly a partner to the industry in marketing events to our customers who are eager to discover great live entertainment.”

L.A.-area Insiders, are you going to give Redbox tickets a shot?
