jaysherman: You confuse ‘sense of humor’ with ‘immaturity’. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge–a lack of maturity. You need to be less ignorant and gain knowledge to know/realize when it’s time for you –jaysherman/1 of many alias–to quit being part of the problem, and instead be part of the solution. That message comes out after it says “routing..” for a while. It’s a network problem, the box can’t contact the main server to check the code. You either have to wait, or run around town and find a box that has good communication. Which in your case worked, or else you just drove for a long enough time for communications to come back.

Why is it that when one red box kiosk in a county or town is out, they are all out? I drove all over Boone, N.C. Monday, July 6th and tried every store where red box is available and still had no luck w the code. They kept saying,”Were sorry, we cannot process this code at this time.” I drove to Lenoir and had no trouble at all. Thanks for the code!

If it’s not a valid code, screen will state that it’s an invalid code. 7HE79B is a valid code though because I just used it at Giant Eagle in PA.
