it’s the same code that is sent via email or text by signing up at redbox.com. It is only recieved Monday morning and can be used until midnight cst according to redbox.
Actually, in CA it can only be used until 9 pm pst, or 11 pm cst. Don’t know why, but maybe it’s midnight est?

I think you’re entering the code incorrectly. It ends in a B not an 8.

So here is a dumb question…You know that when you enter the promo code is verifies the code, right? When the code doesn’t work, does it tell you is couldn’t validate it? Thanks all
If it’s not a valid code, screen will state that it’s an invalid code. 7HE79B is a valid code though because I just used it at Giant Eagle in PA.

Why is it that when one red box kiosk in a county or town is out, they are all out? I drove all over Boone, N.C. Monday, July 6th and tried every store where red box is available and still had no luck w the code. They kept saying,”Were sorry, we cannot process this code at this time.” I drove to Lenoir and had no trouble at all. Thanks for the code!
Sounds to me like you spent more money on gas than the code was worth!!LOL!!
That message comes out after it says “routing..” for a while. It’s a network problem, the box can’t contact the main server to check the code. You either have to wait, or run around town and find a box that has good communication. Which in your case worked, or else you just drove for a long enough time for communications to come back.
