While its Redbox subsidiary is by far its most successful venture, Coinstar is always looking to expand its kiosk business footprint.

The company’s latest move is to improve consumer perception of vending machine coffee through a new partnership with Starbucks.

Coinstar is currently testing its coffee vending machines, which dispense fresh cups of Starbucks’ Seattle’s Best Coffee brand, in limited locations around the country.

The company expects to have as many as 500 machines in place by year’s end, many in locations that already feature a Redbox and/or Coinstar machine.

It’s all part of the bigger picture for Davis, who knows that getting a retailer to devote floor space to a coffee machine is easier when there’s already another one of the company’s kiosk on the premises. Said Davis:

“Consumers love [the convenience of kiosks] because they don’t have a lot of time on their hands . . . We try to be where the consumer goes everyday.”

Would you buy Starbucks coffee from a Coinstar-owned machine as you picked up your latest Redbox rental, Insiders?

Why not? No difference in buying from their vending machine, or a store’s coffee machine. As long as its cheap and has all my favorite add-ins.

So like the Coinstar change machine’s process has become so bogged down in excess screens to tap, the Coinstar kiosk should just offer you a free cup of coffee as you try to cash in your change…then deduct the cost of the joe from the coins as a “service charge.”

I think the better question should be, how many drink coffee while watching a movie? Perhaps they should have the kiosks to sell concession goods (popcorn, candy and soda).

I will pass on the Mud. I don’t go to StatBucks anyway.
But I do use RedBox from time to time. And will keep doing so…

No thank you. Probably stale and Starbucks always tastes burnt anyways.

I don’t even know how I stopped up right here, but I thought this submit was good. I do not recognise who you are but definitely you are going to a well-known blogger for those who are not already. Cheers!
