    Surprising, nothing for the kids this week.

      The Fame remake would probably be ok for kids since it’s PG. I haven’t seen it and I wouldn’t watch it unless someone aimed a gun at my head, but since it’s rated PG, I heard that the innapropriate things in the original won’t be in the remake. So even though the guys in it look gay, they don’t say so. Think of it as High School Musical

      As of this post, “Brother’s at War” is not yet available within a searchable region via redbox’s website. OK, all the titles sprouted wings, flew out of the vending machines and are listed as…”Checked Out”.

        As of this posting, “By the People: The Election of Barack Obama” is available in fewer than 5% of kiosks after a region search via redbox’s website.

        Maybe all but a couple sprouted wings and flew out of the vending machines ;).

    The awful looking film Post Grad and the unbearably awful looking Fame remake come out on Tuesday. The poster on the side of my Redbox says that Fame will be in Redbox, not sure about Post Grad. Personally, I will rent Halloween II even though I wasn’t a fan of the first Halloween remake

    Redbox is indeed buying their WB, Universal, and Fox dvds from stores like Target because WB has rental copies of their movies in video stores, but Redbox carries the normal versions. I realized this because I was on the message board for The Final Destination on IMDB and there was somebody complaining about how the 3D version isn’t on the copies in video stores because it’s a rental copy. The version in Redbox, however, has both the 3D and 2D versions. Also, rental copies have no or little special features from the regular version. The Redbox copies have all of the features.

    Where do we get the 3D glasses to watch Final Destination in 3D with?

      Amber, finding 3D glasses can be tough because there are so many types. This is the correct type for this movie:

      Anaglyphic (red/cyan) (The polarized glasses that were used in the theater do not work.)

      eBay may be the best source since many glasses suppliers make you buy a minimum quantity of 50. Search “3d glasses for final destination” on eBay.

      You could also check around town at party supply stores or novelty shops to see you could find them locally.

      GOOD LUCK!

    If you are like me;
    don’t bother with the 3D;
    as after about 5-10 minutes of viewing
    I get a throbbing headache which does not
    make viewing the film as “enjoyable.”
    Stick to the 2D until they improve it!
