A good time to rent the movies is literally at 12:01 am….at that time is when redbox allows them to be rented

My Sister’s Keeper is a Warner title, Redbox will have to get it at Walmart so it might take a little while.

Netflix’s page for My Sister’s Keeper shows 11/17 as the available date, but the film is not listed on their “All New Releases” page for this week. Which makes me wonder if Warner is now holding back new releases from Netflix as well. I had heard it talked about but never heard it was actually happening.

    where’s Bruno???

I would guess they don’t have Bruno because of the adult content.
If they carried everything, I think rental popularity would be ranked as:
    1. Star Trek
    2. Sister’s Keeper
    3. Bruno
    4. Goods

Where is “My Sister’s Keeper?” That is to come out Nov 17th. Where was “Aliens in the Attic?” You seem to always be missing some of the good movies—Family movies! Just like “The Fox and the Child” which came out a few months ago. Don’t get it—seems your more worried about old movies or movies that just didn’t make that big of a difference instead of ones that will actually make you money–what up with that? Need to keep up with some of the good movies

As of 8:45 GMT November 17, 2009, Redbox’s website has the following additional titles listed:

    -Bruno

Sacha Baron Cohen brings his most over-the-top character to life in the comedy that has started more conversations, generated more controversy and dared to go further than ever before! As Bruno travels the world in search of fame, no one — whether they are celebrities, politicians or even terrorists — will be spared from his signature sense of style and his wickedly off-kilter manner! And yes, they are all real situations! Rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America for pervasive strong and crude sexual content, graphic nudity and language. Widescreen.

    -My Sister’s Keeper

Sara and Brian Fitzgerald’s life with their young son and their two-year-old daughter, Kate, is forever altered when they learn that Kate has leukemia. The parents’ only hope is to conceive another child, specifically intended to save Kate’s life. For some, such genetic engineering would raise both moral and ethical questions; for the Fitzgeralds, Sara in particular, there is no choice but to do whatever it takes to keep Kate alive. And what it takes is Anna. Rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America for mature thematic content, some disturbing images, sensuality, language and brief teen drinking.
    Widescreen.

    -The Locator 2 Braxton Returns

Braxton was the government’s number one hit man, but he left his life of killing behind for a simpler life with his girlfriend. However, when a new contact calls and requests an easy snatch and grab job Braxton finds it hard to resist. But before Braxton has time to react the ‘simple job’ turns into his most deadly as he learns the truth about the terrorist who requested it. Not Rated by the Motion Picture Association of America. Widescreen.

As of this post, ALL of the above are listed as “Checked Out” via a location search.

zzzzzzz for the 3rd week in a row.

I’d like to see “I love you, beth cooper” – it’s been out 3 weeks now and doesn’t appear to be in any kiosks. If Redbox wants to contact me, I’ll happily go pay for a copy, watch it, and sell it to them for my cost less $1.50 (the rental rate in my test area).

Omaha seems to still be part of the “delay” experiment. Star Trek not available.

If Blockbuster can just hold out for another year they will give Redbox a run
for their money. How? Because they will have the better technology & Redbox is
stuck with what they already have. They can replace 25,000 machines over night.

Don’t think I’ll be getting any rental this week other than Star Trek. The Goods get poor reviews, and the reviews I find for The Train is that it is a horror flick about torture, torture, torture–no plot other than torture :-(

yea TRAIN was something like hostle but on a train….. ending was sort of lame …

so is STAR TREK going to be the new spin off (meaning if there is another one will it follow this story line) or go back to the old story line

i hate the alternate covers redbox gives universal, warner bros., and 20th century fox. of course the covers are because of the lawsuit. remember last year when redbox just used a red backround for the universal movies (such as Wanted)? those were better, even though they were all the same. still, i like seeing what the cover will be every time a movie comes out from one of those companies

In my area My Sisters Keeper and Bruno are both still not here. I checked the 2 closest cities and no dice. I ended up watching it from my neighbor who bought it, but wow, that is the longest I have ever seen it take!
