Two the week of May 18th:

    -“Avatar”

Even though it might be the “stripped” DVD SKU version. If there was ever a title where an CE/SE/Director’s Cut or lunatic fringe version was desired, “Avatar” would fit the bill. I might just wait for same!

    -“The Messenger”

Like “The Hurt Locker”, excellent reviews, good performances from the cast, but a difficult subject to call entertainment.

To my understanding, that is what the plan is. They are apparently going to put it back out in theatres this August with an extra 6 mins of footage and then re-release the extended edition in Q4.

Just another way to make another $billion off the movie, lol

I used to rent exclusively from RB because I don’t like the way BB does business at there Kiosks’s. Red box lets you know up front before you rent a movie with a promotional code exactly what the cost will be. It shows you that your cost will be $0 before you rent it. BB buster on the other hand just says code will be applied and doesn’t show you the cost till you return the movie. So far two of the supposed free codes that I have tried at BB said they would be applied and when I returned the DVD it told me my charge would be $1.06. It’s not the cost of the DVD that upsets me but the deception that BB is using now the get every penny they can. Unfortunately for RB blockbuster is still renting movies the day they come out, so if it is a movie I want to see I will rent it from BB for $1.06. Lately RB has had nothing but junk in there Kiosks’s. It’s like they ran out of movies for people to buy since they have to wait 28 days now. By the time they do have it I’ve already seen it from BB. I used to rent from RB every week and now I haven’t rented a thing in over a month. So much for their great decision with the studios.

Yippee, got it at 6:00 am this morning,

saved a promo code for this one,

and it’s funny it is not listed
on the main website for each of my local stores this morning…
You have to click on “rent” to see if it is available

My Library charges $1.50 a day for all new rentals
including Avatar; so I get all the “classic” films “free”
through the library and this way it frees up my cue list at Netflix!

My Library chages $0.00 for all films new or old and they let you keep it a week.
