Why was Magnificent 7 removed from Redbox? The movie was supposed to be released on 12/20, and now today it is gone from their web-site.
I have the same question about The Magnificent 7. I looked the first day Dec 20,2016. And saw it one time barely. Then it just went away and I can not find it in ANY REDBOX AT ALL????? So was it removed or what? If anyone has an answer PLEASE let me know! Thank-You! Sherry

What happened to Magnificent 7?? I thought I even rented it online and went to go pick it up and it wasn’t there. Now, I’m not seeing it on the website?!?!

Magnificent 7 removed!? I saw it there just yesterday and went to reserve it this morning, disappeared. . Can’t find answers anywhere! I remember “the interview” was removed from theatres for specific reasons, but redbox even played that one.. only thing I can think of is I heard it was a pretty racist type movie, maybe the BLM whiny babies made enough noise to have it removed? And I’m not racist by any stretch, it’s just the simple fact that people, of all races, lately have been whining and complaining about anything and everything that offends them. It’s getting ridiculous!

I guess I hit it at the right date, because I was able to check it out before they snatched it away. The Studio or somebody probably had a dispute about the release date, and Redbox decided to remove it. Movie is decent for a rental, would have been better on the big screen. Chris Pratt could use some acting classes from Denzel. He was just too unbelievable, if you have seen Westworld he comes off as one of the tourists that is role playing being in the wild west.
